There was a 2 page article in IC last week titled "Don't discount B&M" pointing out that it thrives in hard times , and though the profit won't match the 2021 Covid figures in the next 2 yrs, it rated a Buy at 550p. I liked the CEO quote that "the beauty of our model is that our customers don't expect us to stock anything" .
You wouldn't go there looking for a particular brand of something. Bit of a jumble sale ...

eps f/c flat oevr the next couple of years following tough covid comps. that said i think they will do better than f/c, slightly. that should be enough to support the shares come the results but in the meantime the relative outperformance vs other retail likely to continue to come in a bit. the stale tech trend in place might mean you need to see c. 500 to get another upside move. looking to get involved again after cutting back but waiting for lower levels. decent company they know what they are doing and discount is def a better area to be in when consumers getting pinched.

I'm keeping an eye on this with a view to getting on board at the right time. Any idea why this is going down so much? The large sale is now over and done with. So is there an overhang to be cleared?
