13/7/2023 11:08 | sorry - a mistake on IG ticket as I always ring them if I see £3 commission shown . | arja
13/7/2023 11:04 | scobak, another one to add is FLTR I think. | arja
07/7/2023 15:40 | I must focus more on FERG scobk. as it sometimes is oversold in day and today was another example of it and a good day trade | arja
06/7/2023 19:10 | You're welcome. | scobak
06/7/2023 10:51 | thanks for comment on FERG and one to watch for sure . | arja
06/7/2023 10:49 | you are welcome sport and a pity UK is not like OZ where NO stamp duty paid on any stock since about 1997 and of course means many more day trade opportunities for making money. I am hoping to return to oz before end of year . Let me know if you find any more and I will do likewise . | arja
05/7/2023 18:33 | Many thanks Arja. Been after such a list for ages. | scobak
05/7/2023 18:31 | But it has done my wealth a power of good over the years. Its risen about 25% in the last 12 months or so and when it gets onto one of the American indices it should rocket from a UK to a USA rating. (shh.. don't tell anyone though.) | scobak
05/7/2023 14:11 | I note that FERG moves slowly but in predictable way looking at intra day chart scobak and might be good day trade when oversold in day - a pity it is such a high priced stock over £123. | arja

05/7/2023 06:41 | thx scobak- I have added FERG to my list . I will now try to copy and paste the list and sorry it includes a few currencies in it as it is my IG watchlist . | arja
03/7/2023 16:22 | Yes please. I would be pleased if you could post. Ferguson is another without stamp duty. | scobak
03/7/2023 07:57 | have added hellenic and coca cola to my list Scobak- thanks for that . I knew about GLEN and S32 and in fact have just closed out a day trade on S32 with modest profit from 199.5 ( RSP trade) to 202.5 auto trade( probably can go a bit higher today! ) and GLEN is quite often a good day trade. I do have a list of the NO SD stocks I have discovered by chance and can send it if you wish. It is really pathetic that there is not a complete list IG , my broker , have no idea where to find one ! . | arja
30/6/2023 15:39 | I'll add a few more. Coka cola hellenic, Glencore, South32, I believe Thungela is also. I have never been able to find a list in any internet search. I also would like to see a more complete list. Could anyone help Arja and myself? | scobak
30/6/2023 06:32 | yes, would usully be a waste of time and probably a loss trading AIM shares wad collector . I have not yet found a list of shares where NO SD payable and can not even get response from LSE . I do know quite a few including GLEN, TUI, 888 , etc and of course the investment trusts ISF and MIDD . | arja
29/6/2023 17:10 | Didn't know it was exempt from stamp duty , guess the spread of a lot of AIM shares makes that less relevant for many of them. I see that the list is complex. | wad collector
29/6/2023 15:16 | chartwise I think about 545 is a good support area although charts are less effective after results as one never knows how market will react . 500 is also a good support level | arja
29/6/2023 15:10 | thanks for inf and comments lovewins . I like to day trade this stock as it is a NO stamp duty stock and very few of them around . Glad I sold yesterday as I always would before a share going ex div as can drop more than the dividend because some buy for the div up to XD day. I was not aware results would be announced and not smart of me :) | arja
29/6/2023 14:44 | Cannot remember now, but I had no great concerns about their debt pile back then, and nothing in the latest update has changed my position on that matter either. But like all discretionary spend retailers, they are going to continue to feel the pressure that many of their customers will increasingly feel. IMO they will weather the storm better than many, but just not convinced that their current profit margins will be sustainable in the coming 12-24 months, when allowing for what I believe is going to be a sticky inflationary period, with all that this entails. Let alone increase profits during this period. Hence my comment on the valuation metric at the time of print. Anyway, time will tell and as I said, this is not a 'sell' for me in a hypothetical scenario, but IMO it is a solid 'hold'. GLA. | lovewinshatelosses
29/6/2023 12:41 | GregSC, this is not a MM type stock which is mainly in AIM stocks . SO MM's have nothing to do with the steep drop . Has bounced a bit and trying to recover but US bond yields rising after US jobless figures ! Lovewins- what is BME debt/equity ratio please as ADVFN new format makes it hard to find the figure lately ?? | arja
29/6/2023 11:10 | I think it comes down to valuation. Have previously held here and a fan of the company still. I almost got back in when it was around 460p in May, but plumped for something else instead. I thought 500p was around the top end of fair value then. Given the economic climate and cost of debt servicing etc. I feel similarly today - but if I was a holder right now, I would not be too troubled either. So would probably class this as a 'hold' now, IMO. I guess the market currently agrees. Always on my watch list though, in case it hits a price again where I think it might offer sufficient value for the macro risks involved. GLA. | lovewinshatelosses
29/6/2023 10:12 | No wonder investors are losing interest in London stocks when even BME reporting good profits and solid trading is marked down. Market makers have a lot to answer for. | gregsc
29/6/2023 07:43 | yes, expected to drop at least 9p with being ex div but results have not impressed the market although seemed to be in line with expectations . As usual the market expected better :) . | arja
29/6/2023 07:05 | sell on news . I'm in for long haul | slogsweep |
