On Wednesday somebody bought 450k when the spread was 7.5-8.25p and
was charged 9.5p and they still said yes.

That's why the price rose so sharply and that is why the mm who took
that trade was happy to let large sellers take profits at the bid prices
quoted, the mm has made probably 4 grand on that turn easily in one day.

sure and they've hit the jackpot today having managed to get
all that stock back after being so short first thing this morning !
So spread is as wide as possible to put of any would be buyers !

I think you were just unlucky to get some large sellers after you
have bought but dont be deterred as the limits and L2 are still both
very good.

The mm's as always have a lucky wand, they waved it and hey presto they
managed to get some of that stock back sold at 9.5p.

8.75p bid for 100k v 9.25p full offer for 15k.

L2 is 4 v 1, all points to the price rising more later on.

for that trade to get into profit so somebody is confident.
