18/7/2007 19:10 | From the results..Looks like very poor management in place here..bought without looking at what they were buying. Smacks of serious incompetancy.. We had a lot of work to do to rectify certain problems that emerged in Tailored Hire Limited, in which we have been greatly assisted by the newly appointed management. We have now completed firm actions to effect the necessary changes and will see the benefit coming through by 2008, subject to market conditions. There is no doubt that, at the time of aquisition, we underestimated the amount of change necessary to manage this business. The Group is preparing a claim against the vendors of Tailored Hire Limited under warranties given at the time of purchase in July 2005. | power talker
18/7/2007 18:01 | Think this is going to be a great investment ! Sales, profits and dividends all rose last year and in the recent Agm sales were ahead again. More and more people see the potential and buy the shares. | quotes_4_u
18/7/2007 17:50 | Be careful chaps, if you try and save Quotes_4_u thousands of pounds by telling him a company is going broke like I and others did on the now defunct DVS thread he takes great exception. He starts a thread with your name in the title posting personal attacks saying basically that you have huge amounts of porn and keep strange pets. | 25cent
18/7/2007 17:46 | Does anyone think that this share has promise? | loverat
18/7/2007 17:43 | Well 0.3p dividend last time around, i think they may be able to increase that to 0.35-0.4p, 0.4p would be nice, that's a yield of 5% on a 8p purchase, but have to wait and see if they do wish to gradually increase it. In a monitor of absolute no buying and all red Axi stood out with no sales and support still. | quotes_4_u
18/7/2007 17:39 | What a big spender this guy must be! | loverat
18/7/2007 17:33 | 90k delayed buy just before the close ! Thats quite a few days now of solid buying, the mm's wont be able to hold it down for much longer, maybe a mark up pre-market tomorrow. | quotes_4_u

18/7/2007 13:50 | Will do. Plus it looks like a duff stock in any event. | loverat
18/7/2007 10:01 | I'm pleased you wont invest here PT, like i said it's not your type of stock because it's not loss making and heavily in debt ! My investments, well most of them make profits and have growth and low PER multiples. I suggest that because you have been rumbled you change your attitude to investing or posting on the bb's. | quotes_4_u
18/7/2007 09:56 | Ive read them and i would not touch it with a barge pole never mind investing cash in here.. By the way im not bitter..just interested in the GURUs share choices..Thought you would have come up with something more appealing:) | power talker
18/7/2007 09:52 | I suggest you read the fundamentals, unlike the stocks you recommend Axi is profitable, pays a dividend and yields 4% and has growth and has recently had a very positive Agm. Now stop being bitter PT. | quotes_4_u

18/7/2007 09:17 | Avoid stocks that are associated with the carbon polluting road haulage industry imo. | qazwsx123
18/7/2007 09:16 | Axis Intermodal is an equipment contract hire group that services the road haulage industry. Carbon emissions from road haulage are said to be contributing to global warming. Avoid stocks that are associated with the carbon polluting road haulage industry imo. -------------------- | qazwsx123
