14/7/2021 08:14 | ….perhaps protecting the share price ……… | redips2
13/7/2021 10:28 | It won't be "Rubber" anymore, it will be "Avon Protection plc". | fuji99
11/7/2021 08:52 | Yes be interesting to know. The video was quite interesting above. For transparency I hold no position here . I don't knowingly invest in those companies connected to the military. | hazl
10/7/2021 22:51 | I know the word "Rubber" remains in the company name, but how much rubber do they actually use these days? They're long gone from making tyres and the milk business has been sold. Military respirators, helmets, stab-vests/armour; how much natural rubber is actually used in these products? I don't know, but I suspect not a lot. | jeffian
05/7/2021 23:35 | 14p which is about 0.5%. Not very much at all. | bingaxu
30/6/2021 16:09 | If you look at the long term chart in the header above, the decline can be pinpointed precisely to the Trading Update issued on 17/12/20 which contained the double-whammy announcing both the test failure of some of their body-armour and a legal challenge to the tender for the supply of Head Protection Systems to the US Army. I imagine that the shares will remain under the cosh until these matters are fully and satisfactorily resolved. | jeffian
30/6/2021 11:25 | Sold and out for now. Broken market structure it seems, 2 year trendline broken too | mozyali
28/6/2021 13:03 | Avon goes ex div on 05/08/2021 (with payment date 03/09/2021), so hopefully there will be some buying next month building up to this. | morti1
28/6/2021 09:34 | There are doubts about future growth and therefore whether it should retain the premium valuation. A US contract is being disputed as well, which might impact future sales | leopoldalcox
28/6/2021 09:05 | I admire bugs too…… “ been weak lately ”…… | redips2
24/6/2021 14:32 | Looking at the chart it seems like its losing support around the 2810 level, anyone else seeing this? Bug admirer of this company, but been weak lately, any ideas why? | mozyali
19/6/2021 00:52 | Yes, but still, despite everything, a great company producing and manufacturing the best possible defence equipment for the future in terms of defence and attack. I really don’t see any cause to be concerned here, apart from impatience. The fundamentals are Excellent. Wonderful company. | morti1
16/6/2021 16:47 | Lowest share price since 4/2020 | onup
16/6/2021 12:36 | I still expect some news on product approval and new CFO to be introduced soon. The 70% losing account reminds me when they were obliged to close the heavily shorted OCDO. They lost an arm and a leg. | fuji99
16/6/2021 11:40 | 70% of stockbroking accounts on average are losing accounts. If you see the solid fundamentals in Avon Rubber it makes common sense to actually be shorting it. | morti1
16/6/2021 10:32 | Any reasons for this downward price? | mozyali
11/6/2021 09:24 | I am in too for TA reasons. | mr euro
11/6/2021 08:47 | This is now at a nice level of support so I may well be adding to my position here. | r2oo
09/6/2021 15:00 | T’wud be nice. | redips2
09/6/2021 08:41 | We should see a bounce from here as we reached resistance levels. | fuji99
08/6/2021 19:18 | That's exactly what I thought when they reached a PER of 28 and I sold some at 450p! | jeffian
08/6/2021 17:29 | Been a watcher for a long time, can't bring myself to buy at this valuation. However you slice it, they are VERY VERY expensive (this isn't SAAS). I want to get in and may even buy on TA but I cant see how they are a buy on fundamentals at these levels. | mr euro
08/6/2021 16:40 | In my opinion this is just another good buying opportunity.Just think where the share price and dividend on cost will be in 10 years time. | r2oo
08/6/2021 09:45 | Good luck Dare. I think they reached the bottom in term of delivery this year. From here I can only see improvements flagged up which, with time, will propel the share price to previous highs. AVON has a unique niche market in the US and the UK in particular. I would add something that was maybe missed but could positively affect their numbers is their debt. It was reduced from 91 million to 44 million. This is a positive move proving they will be debt free next year. | fuji99 |
