16/2/2021 16:32 | Hi. Listen, I not really interested in the fool.uk.....i just see a bounce here on any decent news, which I believe is coming. | volvo
16/2/2021 16:25 | Hi Volvo, just read the article you link to and while I think the stock at current levels is good value, I can't see where the author of your article gets her EPS number from. It looks way to high to me. | clanger66
16/2/2021 16:00 | Bought here today at 3085....recon a ride back to 3500 on anything positive. | volvo
13/2/2021 13:05 | When the seller exits here could move up to 3500p quite easily. Plenty of support at 3000p.I don't hold but keeping a close eye on developments... | johndoe23
13/2/2021 10:31 | Probably - I usually do! Maybe used the Beddard update as a poor excuse - as I had no spare cash for ent. Suet | suetballs
13/2/2021 10:05 | suet, you've sold at exactly the wrong time. I added this week - quite significantly | mallorca 9
12/2/2021 14:11 | Sold this am at a small loss. I followed Beddard who "sold" recently. Added the funds to my holding in ent which I believe will continue to do very well this year. Good luck to remaining holders. Suet | suetballs
12/2/2021 11:15 | Luderitz Thankyou for this I mught very well try Barclays | miss womble
11/2/2021 23:09 | Miss Womble, Ive been using Barclays for about 10 years now having tried most of the others, I find them very good on limit orders and everything else. As far as dealing when we want them to I think that can be a common thing to most brokers if they just can't get stock, that's why setting a limit order can be the next best option. | luderitz
11/2/2021 17:45 | OK - but I don't use stop losses for that very reason. Suet | suetballs
11/2/2021 17:21 | Suet balls. They often can’t or won’t deal when you want them to and often deal above the instructed Loss limit when the price will is climbing | miss womble
11/2/2021 16:43 | What's your problem with ii - I think they're fine. Suet | suetballs
11/2/2021 16:32 | I quite like IG Markets as you can place trades into the order book. | clanger66
11/2/2021 16:14 | Can anybody recommend better brokers than iii | miss womble
03/2/2021 18:16 | from Citywire Throgmorton backs Avon Rubber after contract delay Disappointment over a US body armour contract has not dampened BlackRock Throgmorton (THRG)’s enthusiasm for Avon Rubber (AVON), the specialist engineer of respiratory protection equipment for the military, law enforcement and firefighters. In a portfolio update, Dan Whitestone, manager of the £679m investment trust, said the company was the biggest detractor from returns in December. ‘The shares fell on the disappointing news that some US army body armour contracts would not be signed as quickly as anticipated, which will therefore result in revenues being delayed,’ he said. Whitestone said the delay was ‘disappointing Shares in Avon Rubber closed up 0.8%, or 25p, at £31.25 yesterday. | robow
02/2/2021 09:23 | I think you can disregard that high print. The bid/ offer spread was so wide at the time and some idiot probably sent a buy at market order down. There is a consistent seller in this every day now. You can see on the closing auction someone places blocks of 15k/ 25k to sell with a limit. This is incredibly frustrating as the guy is not letting the stock breathe. It has been trying to go higher. The recent trading update seems to show a steadying of the ship after the order delays and at current prices it seems good value to me. | clanger66
02/2/2021 09:18 | No I tried to sell when I saw it but but just a couple of buys at £33 sell price was still £31 pity I could use the cash elsewhere and come back later. | slogsweep
02/2/2021 09:01 | Did I just imagine what just happened 8% up 15 minutes ago now it’s .5% down. | gseppi
29/1/2021 13:04 | Time to pick up more shares. | mwaters74
29/1/2021 07:39 | Sounds confident of meeting guidance should put a floor under price although no figures to digest | w1lbur01
28/1/2021 20:52 | AGM tomorrow. Suet | suetballs
28/1/2021 14:55 | hxxps://www.ii.co.uk Two companies covered Tracis and Avon. Beddard now not convinced about Avon's potential as a long term investment! I bought in recently but my enthusiasm for Avon has certainly taken a knock. Suet | suetballs
27/1/2021 12:43 | Hi. What concerns you regarding management?Looks tempting at this level, watching for now! | johndoe23
26/1/2021 15:53 | edward just pottering about, see some value here, but not totally convinced by the management, still watching for now | volvo |
