06/7/2005 08:26 | Looks like this will result in a considerable increase in the Penjom reserves. Extremely good news. Well done AVM. | ![]() chipperfrd
06/7/2005 08:18 | Seems to me that the intercepts are at _all_ depths _up to_ 100m below the current pit design - i.e. some within the current pit design (table 2) and some outside it (table 1). | ![]() taylor20
06/7/2005 07:58 | mASSIVE update of bonanza grades under a mine, but note ' 100 metres below' SO A LOT OF DIGGING OUT TO GET THERE. I'm only on watch here. | ![]() hectorp
06/7/2005 07:24 | Brilliant update. As expected the company continues to deliver, hopefully this will help to clear out the persistant seller. | ![]() taylor20
04/7/2005 12:57 | Budenviser, Well if the 4000 per month is a MINIMUM, I'm even more impressed! Thanks once again. | ![]() andy
04/7/2005 11:02 | andy john catchpole said there was no set amount to be paid off each month , said some months they will pay off more .i think that the 4000 is the minimum and as soon as they can get north lanut up to full production they will start to pay off a lot more as they will still be making around $130 - $140 an ounce even after paying into the hedge p.s hoping for $160 an When at full production | ![]() budevenwiser
04/7/2005 10:16 | Budenviser, Belated thanks for your post, puts some of my doubts to rest. I particularly like the 4000 per month reduction in the hedge, as I feel this has been one factor in holding the price back, and now there is a timeline, this is dimininshing quite quickly. | ![]() andy

03/7/2005 11:13 | Thanks to bud's excellent account of his telecon with JH, the problems/negatives are known, can be solved and,IMHO, are in the price. Good to see that AVM have listened to their shareholders and are actively reducing the hedge. A hedge-free and debt-free status just as AVM are reaching a 300,000 oz annual production rate should lead to a major re-rating of this stock. Looking at the share price graph in the header, it appears that we could be about to embark on the seasonal upswing, perhaps after filling that gap next week. Good exploration drilling results from Kali Sua Sinta should set us on our way. | ![]() pecker1
27/6/2005 23:28 | i also found out this afternoon there is a large buyer in avm who wants 250 000 shares so hopefully some good support around this level | ![]() budevenwiser
27/6/2005 17:40 | Bud, Thanks, I've added a link to your post in the header. DD | ![]() doobydave
27/6/2005 13:18 | Many thanks bud, It's been said before but it bears repeating. This is an investment stock not a trader. Can't think of a better play on gold over the next 2 or 3 years. Obviously if the gold bull does die then AVM will sink along with every other unhedged goldminer but with the US deficits reaching for the skies, can't see what will add significant strength to the dollar at the moment, certainly not an extra 50 basis points between now and end summer! | goml
27/6/2005 13:01 | Thanks for the info budevenwiser. | ![]() taylor20
27/6/2005 12:36 | Bud - thank you for sharing all that with us. It certainly sounds very positive. | ![]() chipperfrd
27/6/2005 12:35 | Many thanks budevenwiser, much appreciated. It will be nice to hang the hedge free tag on this stock. | ![]() yikyak
27/6/2005 10:57 | Bionic your right he is spreading. Dont worry i normally only asking questions to likes of bis if I actually want to know the answer as they're the sort of person to reply, if you know what i mean. I dont bother getting into arguments as ive got to keep the day job. all the best. | tobie_1
26/6/2005 11:28 | Don't talk to him Tobie , he's like a virus. If you continue to converse with him , you may find yourself getting extremely arrogant and boring. I've become immune to it due to the high level of alcohol in my bloodstream. bis I've warned you time and time again , but still you carry on. That's your lot me laddo , no soup for you today. It's no good crying , it's your own fault. Now go off and think about what you've done. | bionicdog
26/6/2005 11:06 | why, did it in when they moved the target to 2006 from 2005? | tobie_1
26/6/2005 10:45 | When AVM announces that it will not be able to meet it's 300,00 oz production target in 2006. ( It used to say 2005, and has put it back one year....see my previous posts, where everyone on this thread called me a liar, and I posted proof to the contrary). I expect this to happen to the SP, in a day | biswell |
