The suspension of parliament hearing is what I referred
to earlier. This may drag on in to next week.

Fair enough. I've been doing this a while now and can probably count on my hands how many genuinely good chartists I've seen. Kudos to anyone who can do it. I honestly mean that because it takes hard work and deep knowledge. But most come in talking the big talk and lose money repeatedly before quietly slipping away tail between legs. Usually within a month or two. Often less! Please don't become one of them!

I talk a lot but don't act so often. I think we're into new territory... with Iran. I will hold, and ride out what comes now.

The share price this week is largely dependent on the Supreme Court outcome imv.

I've closed off my small position, luck to those holding.

No offence klotzak but you were pretty wide of the mark last week. Is it really worth it? If you're long just hold.

Agreed, but if I get a chance this week I may have a go to maximise the peaks and troughs. I think the rise has only just begun, so I am in for the longer period, it's just tempting to see if I can maximise in the short term.

Now is not the time to take profits imo. I think now it's best to retain for the long-term and add if you can. You can profit quite handsomely from the bi-annual dividends. Perhaps you can increase your holding in Aviva with them if you don't need them. That is my strategy fwiw !

I've left it too late, now is the time to take profits before a slight retreat, then see it bounce around resistance at 410. I may be wrong, but profits are due to be taken in the short term.

Some profit taking was inevitable but overall it was only a marginal decline today, suggesting the upward momentum will continue. After all, Aviva is very undervalued and it's potential is beginning to be recognized by the market. There's no way I'd dispose of any of mine in the foreseeable future.

Aviva Investors launches energy transition fund
By Margaryta Kirakosian, Chris Sloley 12 Sep, 2019 at 10:30

The Aviva Investors Climate Transition European Equity fund already has a €100 million seed investment from Aviva France.

The new strategy will be managed by Francoise Cespedes, who will work with Rick Stathers, a senior global responsible investment analyst and climate change specialist.

The fund will invest in companies that derive revenues from goods and services that address climate change mitigation and adaptation. It will also allocate to companies aligning their business models with a warmer, low-carbon world.

It will not invest in stocks exposed to coal, unconventional fossil fuels, Arctic oil and gas production, or thermal coal electricity generation. The fund will limit exposure to those producing oil and gas or gas-fired power generation.

Commenting on the launch, Aviva Investors CEO Euan Munro said: ‘Failure to act on climate-related risks represents a failure to act in the long-term interests of investors. It is vital that asset managers play their part in providing solutions for clients that will help address this critical issue.’

I bought 20,000 units at 360 level, been watching it for a while.

I wonder who was selling down at this levels, and how they can justify to their investors.

Not looking to sell anytime soon. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
