Eurozone Manufacturing numbers come in higher than expected.

One man's sale is another man's opportunity very often imo.

I think traders waded in on the momentum and then found themselves too long imo. When the seller started at the high and the bot joined in then the traders joined in too imo.

An opportunity for those that really believe in the co to get in on two great support lines here imo:





100% earnings growth forecast this year, 20% forecast for the year ahead - all on a fwd PE of 12 with the potential for that 12p next year to be significantly upgraded imo.

A £55m 10 yr contract won with Rolls Royce since the last results too - surely underpins the forecasts?

EADS are laying off about 5,000 from a 175,000 workforce. The company is restructuring it's military side following downturn in western defence spending.
Airbus, civilian side, continues to flourish.

Time to buy the dip, imo. What's changed except the macro picture? Solid Co. with excellent forward visible earnings as the airline sector continues to thrive.

I do not see why it should have had any significance on the shareprice after all there has been a general retrenchment of the market and as the CEO states its nothing of significance insofar as AVG are concerned

Yes chaps I was the individual one who emailed Steve McQuillan on 3D printing, had not had chance to post it here yet, something I meant to ask at the AGM and never got the chance!!

3D Printing will be great for prototype and very low volume but it is going to be decades if ever that you can print objects faster than engineering them, especially to high tolerances imo.

Addative Manufacturing is no threat whatsoever to AVG's business. It may be useful in their composites work. When the time is right I am sure they will invest in the necessary equipment which won't be beyond them in terms of cost.

Ps Too much of a good opportunity not to top up here so have done! Can't see the update being bad following the company's performance and new contract wins. The last time the December update was announced it was in conjunction with a contract win too. Looks like a shake that's recovering nicely now.

yep i think it's a solid business but it took off in a frenzy and it had to pull back sometime, hence my deliberations on share price and value at the time. I still have some doubts on growth rates but the news from US today bodes well in general so if the bullish harami holds and is confirmed on Monday that'll be a strong indication of a reversal and back toward trend.

Trading update due next week I think - these were getting bought up like billion a few weeks ago and this thread was dead someone building a big position imo.

It's a lovely chart too.

There's a few sellers today but the mm's taking them so someone has an order in where they didn't have over the past couple of weeks imo.

CR i see it's come back to a more reasonable valuation. I guess holding off for a while may have been appropriate. Lots of sellers still pouring in late in the day. Waiting patiently for an entry point.
