Was about time share price went up. MA20 had been providing support for a couple of weeks.
Hope we can cross this 160p resistance soon and hopefully go all the way to 178p.

It was Mark Slaters Growth fund his son that tipped them, also said they would become a take over target

Gargle - no link, but you will find them on the Rcn and Mari boards where there is a link, I think they were early December. Not too many posts on those boards. Avap is mega cheap though. Where else can you get 50% upside and not have sleepless nights.

We're off, 225p my target here. The market hasn't yet woken up to the increase in aircraft and earnings this year. pe of 10 is circa 225p, and that's still cheap. Also one of Jim Slaters Zulu stocks of 2015 - he only picked 6.

I like the way the MA20 days is supporting the share price here.

Ah, interesting harrowgate... it's now 36% growth, in aircraft, over 18 months to end March 2016.
At the IMS on 11 June the fleet was 25 with 6 additional by "end of calendar year 2014".
Fleet growth was predicted at 44% by "end of calendar year 2015"; "increasing the fleet size to around 36 aircraft".

In the IMS Chatfield said "We look forward to 2015 with confidence as we enter an 18 month period in which growth in aircraft fleet will be at the highest level in the group's history"
So he appears to flag an 18 month measurement there, I assume, all 2015 to June 2016? Or July 2014 to December 2015?

Without doubt. The key thing though for me is the outlook on aircraft where I think they have obfuscated again by using a new March 2016 date to measure growth ..after flipping between financial year end ( June ) and calendar year end ( Dec ) over the years they have now gone for a third option ( March). I am not sure 10 new aircraft by March 2016 is consistent with previous statements and if I have time I will try to compare.

Today's announcement is very good news for existing shareholders, new capital and growth without dilution and a 3% reduction to the company's largest expense

They've already got 2x A320's and 3x A321's in service.

I think they are in the process of doing their first couple of Jumbos or A320's that might take them into a different market entirely.

I don't have a link but I have the following:
The free float is 44 million of 55.66 million in issue according to IC and RNS respectively (on 28 November).

You can find some significant shareholders here:
hxxp://www.4-traders.com/AVATION-PLC-6699773/company/

Not sure how upto date that is but there would be a list in the 30/06/2014 AR (unfortunately it doesn't download from their web site, 'tho).

indeed. All seems +Ve from what I can see, am new to this stock, but RNS I have read (DYOR) talks of a big 2015 so a sell off looked odd IMO....

It's typical of this stock, I have traded the spikes successfully 5 times now. Bought back 3p too early this time mind at 148.5p Hopefully it takes the previous high out this time what with a bit of a Santa rally it could/should do.
