28/10/2011 08:51 | i have heard of BT don't they have a few customers who would be interested in this service? ;-) | geheimnis2
28/10/2011 08:50 | I`ll believe it if we break 340,no sign of that yet! | blue forever
28/10/2011 08:44 | Looks that way CR :-) Next stop 350p then on to 400p's The sight of the BT deal seems to have made the difference. | yorgi
28/10/2011 08:23 | It is getting ready to rocket higher. There is so much positive newsflow to look forward to, as we approach the Hylas 2 launch. The significance of yesterday's BT tie up news, not to be underestimated. | restassured
28/10/2011 08:21 | chart's definitely turning imo - big reversal here imo. CR | cockneyrebel
28/10/2011 06:45 | Daily Mail.... Satellite communications group Avanti advanced 11p to 312.25p after announcing an agreement with BT around the provision of its Business Internet Continuity product. This uses a satellite broadband system to provide back up to terrestrial telecoms circuits, providing a highly diverse alternative routing for data and giving businesses greater resilience for their internet protocol based operations. | restassured
27/10/2011 19:49 | Nothing new but as TW comments: "Avanti Communications* (AVN) has announced that it is to make its Business Internet Continuity Service, which uses a satellite broadband system to provide back up to terrestrial telecoms circuits, available to BT. While no specific details were provided on the agreement, having such a big name company can only be considered positive." And his figures : "Currently trading at 314.25p, Avanti Communications is capitalised at £252.42 million - a 23% premium to net tangible assets as at 30th June 2011 (which does not even include its orbital licenses). Given today's news, I continue to be confident that the company will deliver sales of around £29 million and pre-tax profits of £6.8 million (earnings per share of 8p) for the current financial year (ended 30th June 2012) and sales of £125.4 million and profits of £36.1 million (earnings per share of 34.9p) for the following year. This equates to a prospective PE ratio of 9 times financial year 2013 earnings - and is a compelling valuation for a business that has only just entered into its first full-year of earnings, occupies a commanding position in a high value niche market and has a strong balance sheet. As such, my stance remains "strong buy"." | yorgi
27/10/2011 16:40 | Vely intelesting. | restassured
27/10/2011 16:34 | Take a good look at the chart - the share price is above where ir was at the start of Aug. From the very high of the chart this stock hasn't gone 2 months and been higher than where it started out 2 months earlier. Definitely found support @ £3 imo. CR | cockneyrebel
27/10/2011 16:23 | Looking like a strong close so lets hope it continues tomorrow it would be good to see us knocking on the door of 400p's again :-) | yorgi
27/10/2011 16:22 | It could of course be Goldman's putting their clients in ahead of a buy note | restassured
27/10/2011 16:16 | It should be soon of that I'm confident......mind you I have thought that before. Detail of the BT deal will be leaking somewhere I'm quite sure and that will add to the positive pressure. | yorgi
27/10/2011 16:15 | I like the pick up in volume too. | restassured
27/10/2011 16:13 | just look at that chart, it's turning here imo - should be quite something when it happens. CR | cockneyrebel
27/10/2011 16:10 | The sells are small and the buys are big. The shorters know their days are numbered into the launch of Hylas 2 | restassured
27/10/2011 15:44 | I don't know if it still shorters holding us back but pretty soon they will see the writing on the wall and have to start closing and then hopefully some burnt fingers. | yorgi
27/10/2011 15:24 | Large trades must be the yanks buying. They know a good investment when they see one. | restassured
27/10/2011 13:29 | The shorts are still selling. A last gasp attempt to hold the price, before it doubles in a few weeks. | restassured
27/10/2011 12:38 | Still not even showing as an RNS on the advfn monitor. What a bucket shop operation they are. | restassured
27/10/2011 12:30 | Surely it could and I say could be a very big deal if BT use the service. | yorgi
27/10/2011 12:23 | Chart looks like it's turning still imo. CR | cockneyrebel
27/10/2011 11:25 | it ain't bad, in my opinion. | verymaryhinge
27/10/2011 11:19 | Great news but very poor response in the share price and on a good day for the markets. I'm sure your right Sg31 some numbers would have helped but I'm sure AVN have good reasons why they have not added those but whether that should be taken as good or bad is open to debate. | yorgi
27/10/2011 10:42 | The market would respond better if there was some guidance about the potential value of the BT deal. | sg31
27/10/2011 10:08 | Should get some broker comment,on the basis the company decided to restrict RNS's to those that materially impact the business. | restassured |
