Avanti No 143 on list. STRONG BUY !.

I wouldn't use that site to make any investment decisions. Not exactly well researched. Look at recommendation 81. They went bankrupt over a year ago!!!

I just wonder if there could be as much money made long term if the Sat was to fail. The panic would cause selling, which would trigger stop losses would take the share down to a really stupid level. It is insured, there is another Sat to come. The share price would recover maybe not to the £6.50 but it would go up. If it drops to say £2 and in 18months if recovers to say £4 then that's like to share price today going from £6.50 to £13. Hold some cash back and prepare for the worse.

Small positive article in today's ST about Avanti, they say 15% of capacity is already advance sold. Also mentions the substantial no's in the UK who can't get broadband let alone the remote and more exotic places overseas. The remaining 85% should get taken up soon enough assuming all goes well.

Asia-Pacific Region to Address Space Technology and Climate Change at APRSAF-17
Melbourne, Australia will host the 17th session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-17) on November 23-26. Sponsored by the Australian Government, JAXA and MEXT, this year's event will focus on the theme: "The role of space technology and industry in addressing climate change." Space agencies, governmental bodies and international organizations (such as the United Nations) as well as companies, universities and research institutes from over 30 regional participants will take part in the largest space-related conference in the Asia-Pacific region. Days 1 and 2 will include parallel sessions for 4 working groups: Earth Observation, Communication Satellite Application, Space Education and Awareness and Space Environment Utilization. During the plenary session, status reports will be provided for the Sentinel Asia, Satellite Applications For Environment (SAFE) and Satellite Technology for the Asia-Pacific Region (STAR) projects. I propose a "Launch Lunch" at the Wolseley, Picadilly. Now is it the 25th or the 26th?
The 25th I think.

It look's like something from a espisode of Dr Who in the 1970's. Perhaps a surge of nerds will swoop and buy shed loads of the shares, before launch.

"..At this point, the two spacecrafts are scheduled to take off on November 26..."

"at this point" presumably meaning it could still be deferred again if conditions dictate..
