I would disagree, 47% of all fully vaccinated still get the virus.The Germans and the rest of Europe needs tests and ready to use affordable tests.

viking24/buywell2 - People in Germany were able to obtain free LFT tests because the German government like the UK government was buying them from wholesale manufacturers and distributing them for free. This is going to change from October so there will be a massive drop in the sales of LFT as people decide to get double vaccinated for free instead or incurring the costs of expensive LFT kits.

This is not good news for LFT manufacturers as it will be happening all over Europe.

"Vaccinate or pay for your own test" is the proposition. You need to be mindful of this if you continue to hold AVCT shares.

If AVA6000 is proven to work we’ll see a share price of many many multiples of today’s share price

I shall hold and accumulate as many as I can over the next couple of years.

PWhite ...go away. Todays rns does have some value - the trial is starting. I.m pleased with that. There will be other pharma interest in this big, important trial - affimer tech being proved up etc.SP opened well.

I have invested in and lost enough money in too many biotech companies to know the RNS released this morning has no commercial value whatsoever.

"The dose escalation phase is anticipated to complete by Q2 2022 followed by completion of the dose expansion phase by Q2 2023."

This is early stage stuff that is another two years away minimum from any meaningful results assuming the trial even continues.

Professor X, Professor Y and Professor Z said "they are delighted to be working with.."

Another load of garbage. All pharmacological, hospitals and clinical institutes are headed by professors. Who else do you think AVCT would be working with an HGV driver?

Sorry its news but not really news. As shareholders you must continue to focus on the lack of LFT sales for once that is revealed the share price will halve again.

It.s great news that the key trial is getting off the ground - it really is. Will the share price shift up on this news? I sincerely doubt it unfortunately due to the long time lag of the process (like any other biopharma stuff) It.s just the reality.Positive interim sentiment on how the trial is going may boost the share price The Time Lord is sticking to the brief in the C area timings-wise which is great news.Hopefully, the daft mkt wont see this like I see it but in their dcfs they probably will. There.s nothing new here so DCFs shouldnt change really but the ii.s now have a start date and can pump some probabilistic data into their models on associated costs /timings etc.The mkt impacting news is anything LFT based, particularly sales/production ramp up etc. Avacta needs more good news here.This is not a deramping post, just reality, so hopefully you wont take it the wrong way.Look at the timelines of the trials carefully -and you can see why LFT sales matter now.Yes Avacta have cash sat in the bank but there will have been cash burn since the last set of accounts - we.ll see soon just how much but lots to look fwd to. The Germans will now from October have to pay for the test, as they are now returning to work and like the rest of Europe, they have to pay for the tests and find that tests prior to attend large venue's etc will be the norm.With the various variants of the virus and latest study showing up to 47% of fully vaccinated individuals, can still get the virus, testing is here to stay.

You can only admire a company like Avacta and AS. Dedicating their lives to save others and it puts in to perspective when you see grooming trolls like Pwhite and co bashing a company like this. Utter morons and scum of society with internet access. .Well done Avacta, your story and legacy is taking shape. FTR, I hold just under 40k shares, I have accumulated from 40p to 2.09. I have never sold and I am not a trader. I intend to hold for much longer, believe in the board and the product. Always research and ignore the grooming trolls.

Let's hope AVCT can save some lives with this new trial. This is a significant achievement for this company and will hopefully be life changing for some of those involved on this trial. Well done to AVCT and good luck to all those involved in this trial.
