Written about here. Not sure on why this fell back after the Capital Markets Day. They must have made some kind of outlook comments that were disappointing.

share buyback has re-started..... should be good for earnings at the current share price....if the share count is reduced by at least 2% a year and net debt continues to fall then both should have a positive impact on earnings...Of course second hand car buying is somewhat cyclical.....but Auto Trader is a very profitable and dominant business in this area..... The forecast P/E is now only 16.2X for the year to March 2019 and the yield is 2.06%.... seems inexpensive for a business of this quality??? Or what am I missing?? Can Amazon dislodge them????

Good that they are buying back shares... should soon approach 1% bought back since the final results. If they can buy back 2% a year it adds up over time.

Understand Autotrader is in serious decline in Republic of Ireland. Their Brand is Carzone. Not good for group methinks.

Strong free cashflows. The stock moved up because FCF yield is higher than Rightmove. And given Autotrader is at an earlier phase with its online, there is good growth.

The problem with using just ARPR is we don't know how many have been sold and new entrants arrived. Auto makes the same amount from ads regardless how quickly a vehicle is sold ;)

Downgraded to underperform by Credit Suisse to 360p It's covered on FT Markets Live:

"Downgrade to Underperform: We downgrade AutoTrader (AUTOA) to
Underperform and reduce our target price to 360p (from 390p) as we believe
the current valuation doesn't correctly reflect short-medium term risks around
the cycle, with (Average Revenue Per Retailer) ARPR gains likely to become
harder to obtain and longer term risks around autonomous vehicles"
