07/4/2016 11:37 | Raymund you are right thanks....so whistling in wind then.... I think the huge debts being piled high by countries trying to increase growth...also living wage is trying to stave of deflation...simply by putting up prices nobody will be any better off. | beeezzz
07/4/2016 10:52 | beeezzz, you are possibly thinking of John Butler's book The Golden Revolution. An excellent night time read, particularly if you like fairy stories! He postulates various scenarios, one of which was Russia floating a new gold standard currency which would replace the much disliked $ for international oil trade. For credibility, gold would be stashed in banks other than in Russia, Switzerland for example. horneblower, any update on your technical analysis covering this dead period awaiting publication of new mine plans later this month? | raymund

06/4/2016 21:51 | Interesting a gold buff stated when things go wrong with paper money and all the digital funds, gold could go to $10,000 oz now that would help profit margins. I can't find it on Bloomberg was just an interview, with this guy who wrote a book on the subject. | beeezzz
05/4/2016 16:04 | Under 6p..in for a penny or 5.97p? Wtfigo? In for a Liberian half dollar. | valentine

05/4/2016 11:36 | www.proactiveinvesto Hopefully they will come up with a debt repayment shedule that is not crippling for the company...Done little to increase SP, although POG is slipping which don't help. | beeezzz
05/4/2016 11:20 | I see RNS today that debt deferral further agreed to 29th April, trust this will be the last time and revenue now sufficient to start on clearance of debt mountain. | raymund
05/4/2016 10:34 | Any explanation for the recent sell off, no buyers around yet today! Reading sounded fairly positive in proactive interview a week ago saying that new plan would be announced mid April. Any views? | raymund
31/3/2016 13:03 | Laptop15 The above is purely hypothetical and should not be regarded as advice. | sleveen
31/3/2016 12:19 | Mine plan by mid April. | michaelwhight
31/3/2016 11:02 | Thanks Sleveen, i think your right. Might sell out now and watch in the sidelines for announcements. The situation was playing on my mind.Cheers for good advice. | laptop15
31/3/2016 10:46 | Laptop15 For me, the uncertainty relating to the debt rescheduling is a major negative and if I still held I would sell. I expect the negotiations to include a placing as a show of good faith to placate the bankers. In due course assuming a good outcome to the debt rescheduling AUE would probably be a buy. IMHO NAI DYOR. | sleveen
31/3/2016 10:39 | Sleveen...what do u think on aureus?Sell, add, or hold until financial news comes through next week? | laptop15
30/3/2016 22:43 | Yes I did mean AAU, however the point about balance assets v liabilities is salient to all AIM stocks. GLA | sleveen
30/3/2016 18:59 | Hi sleveen, Im not sure if you were asking me if I've checked. Yes. The main point of "worry" is the $50m debt. I'd suggest it's obvious there must be something weighing down the mkt cap for that level of potential revenue. On the plus side the balance sheet also shows just what a steal the mkt cap is for the assets if you believe that debt is now going to be repaid. Of course, if you don't believe that, it's not a steal! I'd obviously endorse that everyone needs to carry out their own research. I've done mine and have a shed load, that didn't insulate me from a declining share price the last few years but I am convinced it'll turn this year, indeed, I believe it has already started. | jbravo2
30/3/2016 18:12 | Tonight TW comments on Eden Research...quite pithy. Re AIM stocks forget what the words say and look at the balance sheet particularly the current liabilities v current assets. If liabilities are greater than assets you can be sure a placing or some other heinous funding will be needed. Stay well clear. Hence the term barge pole stock (and I was using that term BEFORE TW.) GL. | sleveen
30/3/2016 18:10 | Thanks Sleveen, will have a read of this. Yes i am fairly new to the AIM market but I've been doing quite a lot of research with the financial times and shares magazine plus investors chronicle. Was more of a ftse100/250 man myself but got hurt by the banking colapse and have decided to avoid them this time and try my luck in AIM. | laptop15
30/3/2016 17:58 | Laptop15 If you are new to AIM "investing" you could do worse than a free subscription to Tom Winifith's blog. | sleveen
30/3/2016 17:54 | Have you checked the balance sheet? | sleveen
30/3/2016 17:52 | Cheers Jbravo, just checking them out now. Have added to my watchlist! They sound very interesting. | laptop15
30/3/2016 17:11 | Hi laptop, have a look at AAZ. Mkt cap <7m but will prob produce 65-70k oz this year. Probably at a margin of $500 at the moment. Recent manat devaluation has helped. CEO owns 30% of the company and it has NEVER diluted. He loaned $4m last year rather than issue shares. Transformative year coming. All IMO of course. | jbravo2
30/3/2016 16:18 | Until the finances are sorted this is going nowhere, AIM stocks that are not making money you more than likely doomed. IMO | beeezzz |
