07/3/2016 10:29 | Cyberbub With gold currently @ $1265 oz and a 10,000oz per month mine plan, you can calculate the following: Monthly profit roughly $1265 - 800 (estimated production costs) =$465x10,000x12 = $55.8m pa. If the banks back them, as seems increasingly likely, the shares are very cheap @9-10p, even with some 800000000 in issue, particularly if one takes into account David Reading's view that the real value in AUE lay in the surrounding prospective areas around New Liberty. It all hangs on the banks, the ongoing strategic review and pog. | ridicule
07/3/2016 10:18 | The first thing that happens when a trade is accepted is the shares are removed from the SETS book. This may remove the top level of shares from the bid or ask column which has the effect of changing the quoted bid/ask prices. The second thing they do is enter the trade into the trading list. This records the time of the trade, the number of shares and the current bid/ask, which may have now changed from what it was when the trade was accepted. This inevitably means that, quite often, buys are recorded as sells and vice versa. Since trades sometimes come in thick and fast it is not always possible to know what the bid/ask was at the time the trade was actually accepted. | horneblower
07/3/2016 10:18 | Shame that in this day and age of great technology no one can put it right, what a cr*p system (IMHO).But perfectly normal. Why not have an order driven system on AIM? | condom2
07/3/2016 09:36 | Yes. There is no conspiracy. When you place an order it takes time for it to actually go through the system. Once it goes through the system it is allocated as whether it is closer to the bid price or the offer price but they will have changed since you placed your order. That is why a lot of orders show in the wrong column. It is perfectly normal yet people always think it is a conspiracy | goliard
07/3/2016 09:31 | Made a buy today , it showed up as a red transaction ? . Is this a normal practice | peppypants
07/3/2016 06:42 | Is that 9000 oz of gold a month sustainable.? What are the costs.? etc. | recordz
06/3/2016 12:13 | What's the investment case here, I thought it was a financial basket case, or is it a turnaround story at $1250+ gold? | cyberbub
05/3/2016 17:47 | Closed at $.205 on the TMX after our own close Friday ! Exchange Rate was $1.895 (CAN) to £1 I make that ~ 10.8p/share here !!! Looking forward to Monday | pottermagic2310
04/3/2016 20:09 | I'm guessing no change tomorrow... and Sunday too! I got a lot of these last week so feeling pretty good. The rise isn't because of PI ramping and seems to be more event driven. 10p seems reasonable on fundamentals. | goliard
04/3/2016 16:32 | Canny day that like :-) | rabain
04/3/2016 15:32 | Aha, yes I was thinking of American dollars. Doh! | arf dysg

04/3/2016 10:35 | You are looking at the wrong dollar Arf. | luckyvince
04/3/2016 10:25 | pottermagic2310 (6694) "$1.9 to the £1" I thought it was more like 1.41 dollars to the pound (BBC web site, just now). "$0.145/share = 7.6p British Pennies/share !!!!!" 14.5 cents/share is 10.3 pence/share if you use 1.41 USD to the GBP. | arf dysg
04/3/2016 09:44 | Thanks for the clarity... you can tell I'm a Novice !! 7.6/share !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be out if that happens Happy Days ;-) | pottermagic2310
04/3/2016 09:05 | gold now $1,273 .... | jester jim
04/3/2016 08:55 | The market cap is based on all the shares issued. Nothing to do with how many are issued in the different markets. | unionhall
04/3/2016 08:33 | $1.9 to the £1 $0.145/share = 7.6p British Pennies/share !!!!! This doesn't of course take into account the volume of Shares traded on Canada's exchange, or therefore the Market Cap attributed to AUE in that Market. Ultimately, the equivalent 7.6p/share should be ignored until the Canadian Market's CAP for the Company is established | pottermagic2310 |
