I hope they can convince lenders to hold for another year by that time they should be up to full production..obviously this would require no more setbacks like machinery failures or another contagious decease.

horneblower, I hope the management have enough shares now that they can buy their own Pol Roger, secure in the knowledge that the shares will deliver vast cash rewards to them eventually. :)

I do hope that they're not of the mind to expect everything free, immediately, like a baby who can't even wait ten seconds for its bottle of milk.

We excuse the baby because we hope he'll learn better.

They must have had to issue the numbers for regulatory reasons such as if the figures had become more widely known through discussions with banks etc.

A placing for what? They are in discussions with their bank on a new mine plan! Today's announcement with production holding to forecast and gold on the rise, $1267 as I post, cash flow is accelerating as never before for AUE.

Fed decision affects gold price spike upwards....$1260 should see share price rise tomorrow, missed again should have topped up today.

There was five times more buying than selling for ETF PHAU physical gold today so some think that gold will resume north before long.
