I imagine that chart points to a higher SP, the problem is there are overriding factors ie. gold price and $ strength both have influence.

Bloomberg analysis said gold next resistance is $1,308 oz its seems to have run out of puff.

Oil price was down earlier don't seem to have an effect on aue.

Oil price is up ..could have an effect on operational cost plus uncertainty on new finance arrangement ie new condition for delaying debt repayment imo

Maybe, but it's a matter of whether the market has already priced that in.

I've gone short here partly because I think a heavily discounted fundraising is quite likely - taking advantage of the recent price rise and helping it get off the hook with the banks.

I'd expect the banks to be pressing them to do that actually, and I see possible signs of preparation in the pumps in the Mail and the video interview.

Drahgi is expected increase EU negative interest rates on Thursday. If this happens, gold price should strengthen.

Golden Cross coming up this week in POG ( 60 day MA crossing up through 200 day MA). First since 2013.

Looks like there was a brief Peak today at round 9.65p very early on, chasing the previous Toronto Exchange closing price (a little over 10p) but back down again now to quite close to today's Toronto closing price (8.125p).

I'm wondering if that's the "surge" over for now and whether to Sell ?

The Feb presentation had current all in costs of 900/oz due to a higher strip ratio but even so, 9k x at a conservative $350 profit an oz still provides a monthly profit of over $3m and should placate the lenders. Not surprising the real value is starting to be realised - The debt will rapidly diminish and AFC will be cash rich.

It can easily be put right, with the magic ingredient: money.

If you pay money to have a live feed (level 2, etc.) then you get all this good information.

You may complain that it wouldn't cost them anything to feed the correct information in the first place. This may be true, but it would remove their excuse for charging you more money.
