h2owater - that would be a good shout considering Chinese energy requirements. I actually live in Guangdong Province.
Below is a list of Uranium focused mining/exploration stocks by market cap, AURA should further rerate as the project becomes derisked and moves towards production. It's a relatively simple mining operation with a low strip ratio. In a world where virtually no new uranium mines are coming onstream and those that do suffer from permitting issues, especially in the US.

AURA should be moving towards a 100m market cap, IMHO

Could it be China??
The World Nuclear Association has stated that China presently has 30 nuclear reactors in operation and another 24 under construction. By 2020-21 China will generate 58 GWe from nuclear power and 150 GWe by 2030. The Chinese nuclear power development program is not dependent on Chinese economic growth as the development program is a focused government commitment to meet massive base load energy demand and do so in an environmentally acceptable manner with reduction in air pollution being the number one public policy priority. This development agreement with GPEC place Aura Energy in the group of companies that can take advantage of this growth. |
This mine is going to get built in this market, just whether AURA will actually be the ones to build it in the end. I could see a RIO or BHP coming in.
Surprised the Reddit crowd haven't picked up on this one. |
Will it be the same partner? |
I wonder who the offtake partner might be? Glencore...Sprott?
Additionally, the company would seem to be a sitting duck right now for a potential takeover offer. |

New interview with CEO 30th September |
News due this week:3. The Tiris Opportunity Review which is looking to reduce the project cash cost has been completed with promising results. The report is currently being finalised before reporting to the market.4. The Tiris Net Zero Emission Study is being conducted by Wood PLC in South Africa and is expected by the end of September.5. The Haggan Vanadium Project metallurgical test work program plan is underway and will be completed by September end.Aura is also now commencing a review of the steps required to initiate the development of the Tiris Project. The elevated uranium price is driving this review and also the financing options available to the company. |
Expect AURA to be back over 30p this week, the company has got so many upsides not just the uranium |
Uranium ! ! |
The market is flushing out the long term holders who lost patience with the company during the past few years with all the board room turmoil.
Now that episode is over and the company is on a good footing, once the sellers are complete, this should stabilise around 40p. |
Bought some today, they also have a large Vanadium prospect which seems forgotten about and talk of spinning it off. If my calculation is correct at todays price worth £7bln. they could price that at £100m easily, which is twicw the current Mkt Cap.
Look to still be able to bag a few times from over the medium term, |
Come, on, bounce! Where's the bounce? |
So why is no one talking about it on twitter or lse |
Up 26% at time of post with rejoining AEX and with uranium spot going higher this is going to keep going just getting started. DYOR |
Go go Aura! |
