That's a great post fillipe
Just shows when this business turns around it's not the time to take a fast 20-30% when it could be multiple but not many can hold a stock 2-4 years to see it through. I used to hold stocks for years 20 years ago but these days it's hard but as I only put in a small amount I'm certainly not selling this low.
Lots of strong support on that dip yesterday, somebody else or 2 sees the same value here too. |
Very interesting thanks. I've been on some of those rides, both up and down! So based on the last 20 years, despite recent rise, AUK is looking good value at 2p |
Good to see the interest in AUK - one that's not an oiler/miner!
The previous mention by dave4545 of the prior 8p area made me look back at the AUK highs and lows over the past 20 years.
The results were something of a surprise, even though I have held AUK previously a number times.
Hopefully AUK's history will repeat its upward cycle again!
1999 - 2005 ..... 22p > 2.25p. 2005 - 2007 ..... 2.25p > 15p 2007 - 2011 ..... 15p > 1.7p 2011 - 2015 ..... 1.7p > 8p 2015 - 2019 ..... 8p > 1.2p 2019 - ???? ..... 1.2p v ???? ....
Interesting times here.

Looks like the mm's had orders for those sales today at 2p bid
Now a new intraday high 25% up nice |
A limit order invariably works well - maybe pitching your limit at a tiny touch over the best on show and I find any good broker will usually obtain the stock at something less than your limit.
Often with small-cap companies where mm stock of shares is tight, such as Quote and Deal are withdrawn by mm's, thus allowing consideration to be focussed on known quantity buy orders, via such as at best or limit.

...and looking back at my post of less than a year ago, missing the opportunity to top up at 1p! |
Annoying...tried to buy a few more this morning, but none available. Oh well, at least the ones I've got are now worth more! |
Norbert - thanks for that article - it's good to see their positives of late receiving a good mention in their Trade Press.
AUK - one to keep a tight hold of in order to see their improvements being extended during the future, imo.
I also well remember those 8p days which dave mentions above.

Been N/T to buy for 3 days but clearly perhaps by fill or kill or phone you can get stock as somebody has just got 100k at 1.98p
This will do very well now, clearly no overhangs and cyclical business so when this shows signs of turning the price does really well.
Bought this before around 2p and sold it for 8p many years ago |
AUK quite perky ever since the results and also following through today.
I see the lowest ASK on show has just now lifted to 1.90p, so there is obvious enthusiasm for the stock.
I guess the real upward price action will come when the next confirmation of their business improvement arrives.
At that point it's likely to be really difficult to buy any quantity, I feel.

Nothing online now, there was 150k yesterday and first thing but that 100k buy has took out all the size. Heading over 2p this week |
Full ask of 1.80p been paid and that was for quite small.
Only 25k still showing at that price.

This stock always did work in cycles so when they start to do well the money flows in.
Quite surprised at the lack of interest although 99% want fast bucks and this usually is a slow burner |
Delighted to read today's RNS. It's taken some long time but they do appear to have a real grip on the business and are well placed for the future.

Market cap £2.5m and they've just generated £750k+ in a year. Sales multiple near all time lows. This could multiply :) |
Great balance sheet recovery combined with rock bottom valuation.. this should finally start to move up :) "Net Funds stood at GBP819,000 (2018: GBP157,000)" |
Yep, the outlook statement should underpin the shares |
Got that Friday Feeling! A very encouraging report, and certainly sounds as though we're past the worst and there are better times ahead... |
Results end of this week folks.Dubai scheme coming back to life is very encouraging at its a multi £m fee based on contract value. Current mcap on £2.5m |
