I'm not sure what I've missed, but AUGM has had a terrible last couple of days on, as far as I can see, no news whatsoever.

There seems to be a complete absence of buyers, with nearly every trade going through as a sell, so the price is acting accordingly.

Good luck everyone, Sid.

With a discounted offer you are always going to have flippers. Those who bought in at the placing price are now nicely in profit so no surprise to see some holders monetise it. Hopefully many of those inclined to sell have moved on and we can establish a new base from here.

Considering the offer was oversubscribed, the price subsequently has not moved as quickly as one would expect.

This looks to be slowly starting to move forward again, nice to see. Since the new shares were released onto the market there’s been a complete death of sellers out there, with buy’s outweighing sell in a very high percentage.

I’m a little confused about the trade at 12.00 today, 115,000 @ 151.25, which is marked as ? Surely that has to be a sell, given the price was 151/154 at the time. Or is it the result of a mid-day auction, even though it’s down as an ordinary trade?

Good luck everyone, Sid.

Just checked again and they've now removed the stamp duty and dealing charges, that's much better.

Good luck everyone, have a great weekend, Sid.

I've just checked my account and the shares allocated is subject to stamp duty and dealing charges.

Admittedly I haven't read through every line of the prospectus to see if there is any mention of it, but I didn't expect that.

Good luck everyone, Sid.

It looks like the open offer will be scaled back to 40% of the stock applied for.

A bit disappointing, but quite understandable given it was so popular.

Good luck everyone. Sid.

The offer was heavily oversubscribed, the shareholder offer was met in full with everyone else (placing, excess offer, OFS) heavily scaled back.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not expecting to receive very many.

Good luck everyone, Sid.

Good move to increase the size of the offer, all issued at a premium to NAV so good for holders

Deadline day today at noon with my broker for applications for the placing - I put my application in yesterday and hope it isn't scaled back too much...

I think the offer will be oversubscribed. I believe they have a nice spread of maturities now so we should see it back at £1.60 fairly quickly

Midas verdict: Financial technology is a specialist field, but it is growing fast and the pace of change is likely only to increase over the coming years.

Augmentum Fintech allows individual investors to access the sector, and the broad sweep of businesses in its portfolio means that the group is not reliant on any one type of firm or technology.

Existing shareholders have seen a 40 per cent rise in their shares. At £1.40, they should stick with the business. For new investors, the current fund raising provides a good opportunity to acquire stock at a discount.

Yes I'm going to increase again hopefully in the placing. Floats for Zopa and ii would be great. So much momentum in the sector

I've put in an order to add during the placing.

I agree with you about premiums, but there is a lag in updating NAV's in PE funds especially if they are invested in fast growth stocks like AUGM. I think if TIDE is sold and II floats the track record would begin to build and we might head north of £1.50 again. The price got a bit ahead of itself lately. I managed to sell some at £1.61 so will happily re-invest

Downside risk is too high when buying investment trusts on large premiums.

Who is taking part in the placing? The company has performed well since its IPO but the placings have knocked it for six. I will just take my basic allocation unless the share price jumps in the meantime

JPMorgan buys £3.5bn UK wealth app Nutmeg ahead of Chase launch

The splashy deal comes as JPMorgan prepares to launch into the UK retail banking market later this year.

The first post of your new thread.

This is making my ears pop now, having bought at 57.3p / 25 mar.
Although ostensibly trading at a premium now, i'm holding on for NAV upgrades.
