07/2/2024 13:10 | Another successful exit -Onfido is only around 3.6% of the portfolio and sale in line with book value, but still a positive development and will swell their cash position even further. | riverman77
07/2/2024 10:29 | Encouraging that Tim loosened the purse strings yesterday with a £4m investment into Artificial Labs. First new investment for a while which implies that the cycle is turning. | rimau1
07/2/2024 10:09 | Surprised these have pulled back quite so far - rebuilt my stake too soon! NAV discount back up to 40%; so again looking cheap. | skyship
02/2/2024 10:36 | Its Macro riverman nothing specific. Markets just got ahead of themselves on rate cut timings. Tide and Zopa are IPO ready, Grover is harder to judge and out of the 3 is the one i worry about. Tide should be a trade sale exit IMO. Nice bolt on for a mid size challenger bank. Related to Zopa, Atom and Starling are getting twitchy and looking at potential IPO's so this would help with a rerate if markets continue to recover | rimau1
02/2/2024 10:24 | The only justification for recent fall is if there are some known issues at one of their 3 large holdings - Tide, Grover and Zopa. Not aware of anything myself, although don't follow them particularly closely. | riverman77
01/2/2024 09:15 | I cannot read a buy signal in the charts yet. I remain poised. | wsm812
01/2/2024 08:50 | Just repurchased a third of what I sold, will buy more if it drops further. | toffeeman
30/1/2024 16:59 | Bt back 16k at average of 101p. Will add below 100p. My thinking is that the NAV is set to rise here this year, say up 10% to 176.2p. Then, the discount will also close in from the current 37.6% to a more realistic 20%. That would deliver 140p. A pretty handy 40% upside. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
30/1/2024 15:54 | There were specific external macro headwinds in 2023 which general consensus would have us believe are abating. Depends on your 2024 outlook. If rates have indeed nearly peaked and inflation is under control AUGM will spend more time above £1 than under £1. I have a strong long term conviction here so I simply average down with limit orders so that i don't need to check. | rimau1
30/1/2024 15:34 | Impossible to say short term, but happy to add further small tranches if it drops more. | riverman77
30/1/2024 15:15 | I am poised to buy, I don't think this pullback is finished yet. I hope I'm wrong for the recent buyers, in the past year this stock has spent more time below 100p than above it. GLA | wsm812
30/1/2024 15:00 | Having top sliced at 110p now adding back again - 10% fall YTD looks overdone. | riverman77
30/1/2024 12:28 | Well played Skyship! I have started adding o my position at £1 and have limit orders set all the way back down. | rimau1
25/1/2024 14:35 | Recently started accumulating. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa
24/1/2024 16:59 | @Sky I am looking for <100. | toffeeman
09/1/2024 10:45 | I did the same Toffeeman - I like the story and trust in Tim so will keep this one on my watch list for a fall back below 100, should it do so. | wsm812
09/1/2024 10:41 | I just took my 10% and sold - will keep eyes open. | toffeeman
08/1/2024 19:05 | NEW FEATURE: Diving into Augmentum Fintech's latest triumphs: £22.8M from NatWest's Cushon buyout, strategic boosts to Volt & Grover, and a disciplined approach that's shaping the future of fintech. | elrico
01/1/2024 08:05 | rimau - I top-sliced as the rise from 84p had taken my holding well past my 10% MAX. I continue to rank AUGM a core holding as I anticipate another 25% here in 2024. For my Tip for 2024 you'll have to visit my JDT thread. You'll be very welcome; and perhaps add your thoughts for the year ahead...! | skyship
29/12/2023 08:21 | AUGM has had a very good end to the year having recovered from a 52 week low of 77p in October it reach a 52 week high on 27th December of 112.5p. AUGM looks well set to do well in 2024 as its 3 largest investments continue to grow, which together with its £54 million cash exceed its current market cap. The discount to NAV is 30%. | 888icb
18/12/2023 14:45 | Thanks Skyship. You are allowed to tip AUGM then!!!!! (albeit perhaps counter intuitive if you are top slicing)! | rimau1
18/12/2023 13:57 | Sphere - see my chart in 136 above. Target 108p. Hit that; so have top-sliced a few. | skyship
18/12/2023 13:54 | rimau - my 2023 TIP was GGP @ 8p. Hi/Lo since 6p/11p - now 9.5p. | skyship
18/12/2023 12:45 | That was a nice one last time Rimau1. I get the banter :-) This is on its way, breaking higher. The Bulls took control of the key price points and the buying pressure has overwhelmed the sellers just above that 100p mark. It took some effort but they have been cleared. It is going to test that 110p level now, and slightly higher, based on that chart. I bought at 104p but had to come out of it because I'm being distracted by things in the background and now it is 108p to buy! But hey ho, doesn't matter. It is breaking higher so let's hope it keeps going for holders. A firm break of that 110p mark and holders will be delighted. All imo DYOR | sphere25
18/12/2023 10:13 | A long awaited re-rating is currently occuring here. In general this is a slow-burning stock, one that is managed well and is building it's portfolio very nicely. I am happy to remain a holder here, and wil not be selling in the near future. | wsm812 |
