02/6/2020 14:22 | This thread can be whatever you want it to be about, meebs, that's patently clear | jasperthemonkeygod
02/6/2020 13:20 | "La connerie " it comes on a regular basis from the board and it's followers hear on this bb, but no more so then from RRB. | cocker
02/6/2020 09:49 | Poebardem I do believe in the company and I hope this came across in many of my posts. But I've been investing in shares (or learning how not to lose my money) since 2007. You should always be open to any discussion about the shares you are holding or intending to buy and your "believe" in the company should not prevent you from being also critical about them. If I mention something which may come across negative I welcome people with counterarguments as long as they are based on facts and not a "mythical" inside knowledge or just purely childish remarks. No company is bullet proof and no shares are 100% safe investment. This much I learned and that is why I like to question things sometimes. | sir_dominic
02/6/2020 09:25 | Fair cop and respect due if you speak multiple languages Sir_Dom. However, you still seem to be focusing on potential problems. AB is bigger in the podcast space than people realize, but those in the industry know and any buyers will be fully aware of it's current trajectory and potential. AB works with many of the big names in the space. Spotify, Apple, iheart etc No need to doubt. | poebardem
02/6/2020 08:50 | And get a knighthood to boot! Impressive sir | lukehold
02/6/2020 08:48 | Wooty, I sincerely apologise for my English. I thought it’s clear to everyone that it is not my native language. What languages do you speak Wooty? I challenge you to go to a new country with no money and not knowing the language at all and then after 10 years you can compare yourself to my humble self and comment on my English skills. | sir_dominic
02/6/2020 08:38 | You're right Wooty, Sir_Dom seems to be losing it. He will be surprised when news hits, but if he's a shareholder as he says it will be a pleasant surprise. | poebardem
02/6/2020 08:15 | What on earth are you talking about Dommy. It's clearly not cohesive writing and it's certainly not in English. | wooty01
02/6/2020 07:51 | Please RRB, not your secret sources again. It’s all about image and perception. You should know, you said you were on the tv and radio. People recognise you, talking about you, asking to see you- you can demand good contract. What contract (if any) do you get on tv or radio as a person who is completely unknown??? What you said just confirms what I said: we as the shareholders and Audioboom team will always see our organisation in a slightly better light. | sir_dominic
01/6/2020 08:38 | Interesting announcement...or not. hxxps://www.tritondi | mdchand
30/5/2020 07:12 | "you will notice that most of them don't even mention Audioboom and none noticed the fact that it is up for sale since Feb." Pmsl. From a guy who is so well researched he didn't know that AB produced/commissione If have done your research (beyond Google) you might be surprised. | rachelrileysbra
29/5/2020 21:31 | That's mind blowing analysis Dommy. You're better than the weather forecast. You've covered sun, wind, rain, hail and snow in your perceptive thoughts. All in the same day. I did read it all and have to agree that your valuation is a fair one I'm not sure we will get that high. Tough market conditions and virus certainly hasn't helped the process. | wooty01
29/5/2020 17:11 | Reason 1: "So far nobody did" - they are not required to be publicly identified so I can't see it being announced until a deal is done or done in principle. Which could take some time with multiple bids. Reason 3: Raine are a serious outfit, will have direct relationships and Boom already has relationships and deals with potential acquirers e.g. spotify, iheart. Serious parties will have access to the data room including audience size to determine value (not a share price that doesn't correspond to the positive business progress). Most assumption post valuations have been based on similar acquisitions. If you compare AB size to similar m&a / VC in the private space since this time last year the numbers that have been mentioned in posts are not ridiculous in the right situation. AB is just weighed down with a listing on AIM. The underestimation is in the cost to and what it takes to recreate Boom over a number of years in an increasingly competitive market. The stage is set, we will soon see the players and how the story ends. | poebardem
29/5/2020 16:03 | LOL. I don't want to over-strain poor RRB. Richy there could be only three reasons we didn't hear anything yet, 1 bad one, one not so bad and 1 good one. I know what some people will say here :) But everyone agrees that Audioboom is well known to all interested parties. There is no need for in depth analysis. And we are calling ourselves one of the leading podcast platforms worldwide. Reason 1 (good one) : The offer was already there and ready to accept when more interested parties barged in and the bidding started. This would be a very positive for the shareholders but... If we are so well known to everyone and we are such a great asset I would hope that someone will just try to outbid others decisively to close the sale. So far nobody did. Reason 2 (not so bad one) : Some offers have been made but not satisfying to our main shareholder? So they are holding on hoping for the bids to increase further once the war between Spotify, Apple and Amazon will start for good. Hopefully in mean time we can expand the business further so the value of Audioboom will go up comparing to when it started the process. So with delay but we will see good offer on the table. Reason 3 (bad one) We all (including me) think that Audioboom is worth more than other think it is. In this case interested parties approached us with some ridiculous offers and our board is thinking how to get out of the situation because it will look very much like repeat of the Triton situation. I will point out one think to everyone who was mentioning some ridiculously high valuations. When you read through whole bunch of US based articles about podcast industry and about recent acquisitions you will notice that most of them don't even mention Audioboom and none noticed the fact that it is up for sale since Feb. Before Sancho Panza and Don Quixote shut me down, I still think that in right scenario we should see £6-£7 per share offer and this is what I'm waiting for here. | sir_dominic
29/5/2020 14:59 | Maybe next week RRB? For Sir Dom | poebardem
29/5/2020 14:58 | I don't expect we will need to wait until Q3 to see who will buy AB. | poebardem
29/5/2020 14:30 | I don't rollover for monkey boys. | richyrich8 |
