30/6/2003 13:27 | lw Was gonna ditch my OYS and buy more ATL first thing but they had leapt at the bell so I'm still in OYS at the moment. Surprisingly OYS is moving up and quite a few buyers, probably following the latest director small buy which IMO was to cushion the share price following the AGM non event disappointment. | morose

30/6/2003 10:40 | well i view that as even BETTER news than we were expecting...the software is due to be announced in June...so the fact that they are in ADVACNED stages of contract negotiations to me means that its a big client for the new software, and that means that if one buys, then many more will/should follow...think the fact that theyve announced it means they think word is leaking, which of course MUST mean the workd that is leaking is POSITIVE..ie BIG contract!.. | paulkent

30/6/2003 08:23 | morose, i don't know what Interglobe said as I filtered him out a while ago. But you mention RSI. The RSI is irelevant when important news is on the horizon. The impact the news will have re earnings and prospects for this company will in itself propel the share price higher. Once the press starting reporting the news just watch the buyers flock in the following day. Look at what the company themselves said in their AGM statement : These initiatives demonstrate that the increased investment made over the last few months in the research and development of new products and in sales and marketing has given us the opportunity to make further improved product offerings to both existing and new customers. In addition we are maintaining our forward momentum and expect to announce the release of a major new software product in July 2003 for which initial customer interest has been excellent, this product will enable executive teams to have complete control over business budgets, resources and milestone deliverables." "The growth potential of Atlantic Global remains substantial with our software being increasingly capable of delivering considerable benefit to most types of organisation. We believe we are extremely well positioned to achieve significant growth in the future." They are acknowledging how this new software will result in huge growth for the company as a whole. That is why investors are buying this share now. The Daily Mail says they are the next Gresham. Well that would be nice as their share price went from 45p to £3.05 in a matter of weeks on the release of similar news re big contracts wth high street banks / blue chip companies. | trt |
