14/7/2003 09:54 | taurus, they seem to be completly flexible in customising the software to suit the individual client. The norwich was for 300k which is an excellent start. Very tightly held stock and the company actually make profits so quite a lot of that 300k and ones like it will be going straight to the bottom line and not to the bank in interest payments etc. More to come soon you feel from some of the other big boys. No competetion with Gresham, just similar styles of companies. Worth having a few in your portfolio to give it some stability over the medium term.Price can move quicly on buying so be careful of your timing. | rob molloy
14/7/2003 09:40 | alroyrob - thanks. If NU have tested and taken on this "NEW" software product, which is/was only due to be "released in July", it implies to me that it has been user-driven, tested and is perhaps already in the latter stages of contract negotiation with other companies ("full sales pipeline"). Just a thought! :0) | taurusthebear
14/7/2003 09:29 | Morose...not really in competition.Ght does software for banking industry whereas ATL does various bits for resouce and management but have developed a software that's has been taken up by norwich union and if more companies follow then we may see the share fly like GHT's...that's where the comparison come's in. | blopblup
14/7/2003 09:20 | Sorry about my lack of knowledge, this is the quickest way to learn, but does ATL compete with GHT? Are the products similar? | morose

13/7/2003 19:13 | Blop. No need to worry with this one, 17m market cap, growth company, new contracts and news to come and pays a dividend. Sit back, relax and nature will take its course. Think Gresham Computing, think ATL. | rob molloy

12/7/2003 12:16 | TaurusTheBear- I think that the use of the word 'NEW' in several places in the following RNS release, confirms that this IS the 'NEW', unique, software. PS. I have highlighted the word 'NEW' for your benefit. Atlantic Global PLC - Major Contract Gain RNS Number:9916M Atlantic Global PLC 01 July 2003 For Immediate Release 1 July 2003 Atlantic Global Plc ("Atlantic Global" or "the Company") Largest contract win to date -Norwich Union to license 'NEW' "Adeo Corporate Vision" Software Atlantic Global, the AIM listed West Yorkshire based specialist developer of business management software applications, announces that it has been awarded its largest contract win to date, worth over £300,000 in revenues in the current financial year. The contract, awarded by Norwich Union, part of Aviva, the UK's largest insurer, is for Atlantic Global to supply an initial 1,500 licenses for its 'NEW' Business Portfolio, Project, Resource and Milestone Management software, 'Adeo Corporate Vision'. Norwich Union has also signed a three year maintenance contract in respect of the software. This 'NEW' addition to the Adeo product range has been developed over the past two years and its unique design will enable organisations to manage resource and expenditure budgets together with business and project delivery milestones, providing clear visibility at all levels within the organisation. It will also profile the demand and supply of resources using a simple, easy to use interface. When used with the other products in the range, Adeo provides a comprehensive business management suite. Commenting on the new contract award, Eugene Blaine, Managing Director of Atlantic Global, said: "This new contract consolidates our position as one of the fastest growing software suppliers to the financial services sector. Norwich Union is one of a number of blue-chip customers we have in this sector, including Barclays Bank, HSBC and Cattles Plc. "Adeo Corporate Vision is the result of an extensive development and testing programme with several of our customers notably pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer and latterly Norwich Union. We believe this product represents a radical departure from conventional solutions and is aimed very much at the efficient delivery of business objectives in service-based organizations." | alroyrob
12/7/2003 10:20 | Can anyone confirm, or otherwise, if the NU contract, and Adeo, is the "new software product" that was touted for release in July? Thanks. Taurus | taurusthebear
