17/7/2003 18:16 | blopup Good input on the presentations and window dressing - regardless of newspaper rampings, this is an excellent co. with much to offer in terms of cost saving high quality software. ddav. | ddav
17/7/2003 17:24 | Heading back to 5p ? | interglobe
17/7/2003 17:03 | nice one - keep up the information flow | morose
17/7/2003 10:36 | From iii board, I have used their excellent software since 1996. They held their first user group seminar this week. High attendance 75+. Client presentations by Norwich Union, Virgin Mobile and others, all were singing the praises of software which is easy to set-up and use and improves visibility on project and corporate financial performance. More new products demonstrated. Strategic product about to be launched called Corporate Vision! Confirms what I had been saying about the presentations the other day. | blopblup
16/7/2003 17:00 | slight dip on price but NOTHING has changed re the fundamentals. Still making a profit, paying a divi, staff working away on new orders. So the price dips, so what, gives new investors a chance to pick up stock slightly cheaper than us. Could easily jump 20p north. | rob molloy
16/7/2003 16:54 | I'd rather it went to £1.50 first and then 35p,that way We could fill our boots twice!!! | blopblup
16/7/2003 14:18 | lets hope it goes to 35 first and then to 150 what a perfect world that would be | jacklhope
16/7/2003 14:14 | Morose,it is volatile but you seem to make it sound that either it we'll reach £1.50 or gown down to £0.35.....isn't that acting in the same way as mm's or are you raising spirits and dashing them down as quickly as you can. | blopblup
16/7/2003 14:10 | If you read my previous posts, patience is required with this stock. It will be measured against newsflow and other contracts being signed up.If it dips significantly then yes I will top up,for that there is no doubt.Personally i think mm's are playing games, shaking the tree cos they know there will be presentations made by collins stewart(broker)to institutions and they will also know that potential clients were given a presentation yesterday thus mm's are trying to maximise their gains.Nothing to worry,i say. | blopblup
16/7/2003 12:08 | This co. has a lot to offer ---and people will buy on it's capabilty of going forward. I'm backing it anyhow! | ddav
16/7/2003 09:11 | Mm's trying to drum up some business, ie. shake out weak holders into panic selling/attracting buyers waiting for a good price. This share is highly volatile and could rise dramatically given some buying or decent newsflow, but is not for "widows and orphans" as the saying goes. If no buyers come in, it is likely to decline significantly IMO. | morose
16/7/2003 08:22 | What's happening? | daniel
15/7/2003 23:58 | Did anybody see CNBC last week when they interviewed the CEO of Concur Technologies a US software company (I'm sure they have a website) who provide software for company expenses rather like ATLs latest offering. A very illuminating interview which gave some idea of the size of the market, which he stated as being multi-billion dollar, and the potential for such products. In essence he stated that compared to company payrolls which are virtually 100% automated, company personnel expenses are still done 97% on paper with messy expense forms, approval procedures etc. More importantly, his company's software offered clients 100% payback within 12 months. He also stated the increasing pressure on companies (at least in the US although it is obviously still an issue in the UK as well) to apply proper internal controls to ensure corporate governance and compliance issues are met and to prevent fraud. Perhaps mosst interesting of all he stated that although his main competitors were the big ERP software houses, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft etc. Concur have a bigger market share of the US market than all their competitors combined. This clearly demonstates to me that this application really is better served by a niche product rather than a node of a big ERP package. Given the massive untapped market, with 97% of expenses still done manually, I think this clearly demonstrates the enourmous growth potential of ATL. Once they sign a few more sales contracts this share will catapult upwards. | mug punter
15/7/2003 18:56 | RE - POST 399 LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | interglobe
15/7/2003 18:51 | raycool,surely not ramping!Have you any more evidence! | blopblup
15/7/2003 13:52 | Time to fill your boots guys and girls. This stock as per an article in the Daily Mail is tipped as the next Gresham computing, and for all you followers of high flying shares you'll know what i me. The company processes time sheets and expenses for thousands of employees and has just won a new contract with Norwich Union. More contracts will follow. Buy whilst you can at current price. | raycool
15/7/2003 13:42 | Mug punter...good post, however as I keep saying, this company is a PROFIT making organisation,we don't need to ramp the share like some of those idiots on GHT ie Interglobe and 4-10(me thinks,it's the same guy),this share will shine like a beacon in time to come.Patience is required and don't worry about it ticking down a couple of pence,it's the damn mm's trying to make some money... | blopblup
14/7/2003 14:11 | Hi blopblup, Yes, I can confirm to everyone that ATL are making special presentations of the new ADEO software to prospective clients and......institution It still puzzles me as to why there doesn't appear to have been much institutional interest in this stock so far? Or has there? PS. Also heard that ATL are duly increasing their sales force. | alroyrob
14/7/2003 12:35 | ATL,once it hits the gravy train then the upside will be enormous.Nice to see the shares are very stable at the moment.ATL are doing a presentation to prospective clients tomorrow so the future will be very interesting.Alroyrob will confirm that if you don't believe me. | blopblup
14/7/2003 12:16 | Guys, Spot on with your comments !!! | trt
14/7/2003 10:00 | rob - tell me about timing - still to make a profit on this one! I'll average up if and when the time comes, just as with GHT, which has proven a nice little earner thus far, and similarly there I see no reason to sell. It's easy to keep something just because it's going up, but I tend to form my own idea of what is realistically achievable, and ATL is one of those companies that, having a small market cap, and being just profitable, could yet become a multi-bagger from here (or not).... :0) | taurusthebear |
