30/6/2003 07:48 | As I have said in a previous post I reckon company will make two announcements. First one about the new software and its capabilities and cost savings it can bring ti industries and the second anouncement will then inform us of the number of companies who have agreed to sign up to use the software. By making two annoucements perhaps one in the morning and the other a few hours later this will result in a double boost for the share price. I have seen other companies make anouncements in this way. | trt
30/6/2003 07:18 | Wait till they announce a major contract deal this week..as per Mail.Another Gresham this one! | nurdin
30/6/2003 07:14 | Sold out....well over priced now and very O/B....take a look at the RSI | interglobe
30/6/2003 07:07 | We are on the up again . I bought more first thing this morning. Although I said I wouldn't on Friday I now realise we are in for a further strong run with these. £1 must surely be reached before friday. Just thinking that if ATL can get more than one big insurance company to sign up to new software then the market will love this and we could even then be heading over £1 and perhaps nearer to the £1.25 - £1.50 level that Littlewillie suggested at the weekend. Grab a few more if you can guys !! | trt

29/6/2003 06:33 | Good morning, Guys. It's Sunday, and perhaps some of us have a bit of time today for researching companies. May I return trt's timely suggestion to check out ATL, by offering another potential blockbusting company? .....wait for it, wait for it.....oh, the suspense (trt!) Right, seriously, check out NXT (NTX). This stock has recently come off the bottom (like most techs), and has just hit the £1 mark, to fall back on profit-taking. However, the stock has quickly headed north again and is about to take on the £1 barrier once more. It may be the last time you could purchase below £1. The stock reached over £25 per share in the tech boom, and was around £5 before the boom. The company has been getting stronger each year. Major announcements could come at any time. I say this because it's a company you need to be in already as the updraft in price historically can be very swift. Please, please DYOR. I would love to receive other posters' tips on their favourite company, so I can do some research today. Regards. | excelsior
28/6/2003 23:34 | trt, it was your post on GHT thread, which prompted me to look at ATL, many thanks, in at 57p. | riggerdigger
28/6/2003 23:03 | LW Thanks for the tip off you gave me on this one. trt - of course we're interested in the share you're researching - the more info the merrier - thanks | morose
28/6/2003 19:08 | Thanks for the info littlewillie. I, for one, found it very interesting. I hold you to keep looking in and posting your thoughts. I agree with your view on ATL, and what they could achieve within two months. Enjoy your retirement...at 56, you have achieved my dream and ambition. Regards. | excelsior
28/6/2003 17:00 | trt...probably not coming back in as I recently retired to South Africa and have a couple of projects on the go over here. Recently made a bit of spondies on the market which has made my involvement in the past seven years very worthwhile but I'm 56 and retired, am getting 11% tax free in an offshore [guernsey] rand account so have decided not to ride my luck. Still have a fairly large portfolio which I will reduce as and when prices rise[?]. Have always been and will continue to be a top fan of this marvellous company, have been in and out twice [first time + 64%, second tome + 118%] and am convinced within 2 months you'll see £1.25-1.50. Its also a pleasant thread without mindless morons or muppets so will continue to watch. Good luck guys, your jackpot isn't far off imho....lw | littlewillie
28/6/2003 16:17 | From the Mail today. "ALREADY up from a February low of 25p, AIM-listed Atlantic Gobal jumped 11p further to a record 73p. The company, whose software processes time sheets and expenses of thousands of employees, is tipped as the next Gresham Computing." "Gresham's shares have soared this year from 45p-306p. Dealers expect an earnings-enhancing deal from Atlantic Global next week." Topped up with 5k on Friday, but had to pay between 69 and 73 for them. trt - spit it out, theres a good fella.....we can make our own decisions. | ttjohnson

28/6/2003 07:20 | Check out today's Daily Mail - ATL featured in bold at the bottom of page 80. Tipped again as the next Gresham Computing, which has gone from 45p to 306p. Ends by saying dealers expect an earnings-enhancing deal from ATL next week. | excelsior
28/6/2003 06:41 | trt.would be grateful for this other share you're researching. kind regards. | makday
28/6/2003 06:15 | I believe a lot of investors have bought in just for a short term ride. I agree if the annoucement is as good as we think it will be or better, then regardless of some profit taking these will be worth holding for the longer term. After all we could be looking at EPS 2 - 3 in due course. No one is having my shares until we reach at least £1. Sorry to mention about my research on another share. I won't mention it again. | trt
27/6/2003 22:57 | y would people take profit in the wake of an announcement which most believe will be positive and is likely to attract new investors and new rises in price??..indeed, y are lots of people buying in advance of announcement if its likely it will cause a fall??..profit taking jsut BEFORE the announcment would be the logical thing if that argument has substance..it almost sounds like u might have shorted/be about to short the thing trt!!!!!???!!!! (forgive my cynicism!!)..and dont be so coy about the other share ur looking at...again, it almost sounds like a diguised pitch on the way??.... so Id jsut come out with it and let folk make their own minds up...were not so daft that we'll either accept or reject what you say without checking it out after all | paulkent |
