Posted at 12/1/2025 10:34 by scargs robmcelf2.Your comment about ATYM being eligible to enter the FTSE 250 Index at the end of March 2025 is very valid. I think the ATYM share price should appreciate between now and then solely on this alone. In addition there is Truro, the end of the Public Consultation period is imminent, and hopefully a gradual increase in the copper price. 2025 has the potential to be a good year for the Company's share price. Looking forward to the Q4 figures and the Annual figures. |
Posted at 12/1/2025 06:42 by robmcelf2 So now that the redomiciling to Spain is complete with a little share price appreciation, ATYM can be admitted to the FTSE 250 index in the next shuffle which I think is assessed end of March and that should give us a little boost. |
Posted at 19/12/2024 17:31 by beiber39 Thanks, Alberto’s don’t a great job, been in this share over 5 years, well in profit but I have far better returns on many other sharesI will always have some shares in here but if it gets to £4.75 again I think I will skim some off and reinvest, did fantastic with Nvidia, could do with a couple more like that!!! All the best everyone (just joking about Trump Media, could easily collapse one day) |

Posted at 15/11/2024 17:41 by quirky1 I am frustrated with the share price and progression of the company and feel like we are treading water at the moment!.Copper price hammered by weak China stimulus package and China/US trading levies. Not a positive point in the metal cycle....moment in time!. Nothing positive for Copper...Next 6- 8 months. I have watched the latest Investor Presentation and I feel positive about the future of the company. Focus on the points between the detail?. Trouro.. permitting June 25..plant build 16 months...producing Copper start 2026. Acquisition...lookin Redomisilation- complete by March 2025 increasing liquidity of shares. Expansion of Solar/ Wind?. Elix..Innovation & roll out. Copper grade increase 2025. No aggressive takeover...maybe!?. I can go on!, but I feel their are so many positives, we just need to be patient. When the above fall into place, this share will fly!. If you are brave enough to trade it in the meantime..hats off to you. I am quite happy to hold and see where we go. I have held these for so long now ...nearly 15/20 years!...Risky, back in penny share, Harry Adams days, but I think these will come good and the company has performed beyond anything I expected. I have a lot of skin in the game and not going anywhere in the near future. Good luck to all. |

The long term picture for this company is very positive but progress is just a bit slow in 2024. The 2024 highlight for me is that Touro has been granted strategic status. Hopefully momentum can build now towards a better 2025 and copper prices will remain supportive. AIMHO! |
Posted at 17/9/2024 12:41 by rougepierre Impressive Quirky...we have c45k and s/o else on here that I know has more than that...Given that this is an established copper producer on mainland Europe with routes to market plus all the pending improvements and opportunities, I believe an opening bid would have to be a minimum of £6... I had always thought that the most likely bidder was Trafigura until they sold their MATSA mine to Sandfire, who I would now make favourites. MATSA was producing 4.4 million tonnes of copper ore a year whereas ATYM is producing almost four times that amount. It was sold for $1.865 billion when the copper price was c$4.50... So why wouldn't ATYM fetch at least £10 for a successful bid. Certainly I've massively increased my stake on a significant rerate when we enter FTSE250 and on all the other pending news... But at the back of my mind I'm expecting a bid approach eventually, so why not now before all that share price enhancing news hits the market...? |

Posted at 17/5/2024 21:03 by theapiarist There may be several theories to explain the steady rise in share price 1. Tuoro - yes 2. FTSE 250 - yes 3. Copper - in my opinion the most compelling single reason for the rise. FY 2023 with copper averaging $3.80/lb the margin was $0.71/lb At current Cu price of $5.054/lb the margin rises to $1.96/lb An increase in margin of 176% Or to express it another way, an increase in profitability approaching a factor of three. Compare the above figure with the increase in share price thus far this calendar year of 37%.! Compounding nos. 1 and 2 with 3 leaves me to believe that the present rise is modest compared to the future potential for this stock. |

Solar farm comes on stream as does Elix early in the year which will bring cost reductions in turn boosting profitability2. Copper price appreciation - although this may not materialise until 20253. San dionisio finishes permitting and ATYM mixes in the richer grade pre to drive outputs for little extra cost 4. Listing on main market at end of next month could attract institutional interest not possible with an AIM listing |
