Posted at 12/1/2025 10:34 by scargs robmcelf2.Your comment about ATYM being eligible to enter the FTSE 250 Index at the end of March 2025 is very valid. I think the ATYM share price should appreciate between now and then solely on this alone. In addition there is Truro, the end of the Public Consultation period is imminent, and hopefully a gradual increase in the copper price. 2025 has the potential to be a good year for the Company's share price. Looking forward to the Q4 figures and the Annual figures. |
Posted at 12/1/2025 06:42 by robmcelf2 So now that the redomiciling to Spain is complete with a little share price appreciation, ATYM can be admitted to the FTSE 250 index in the next shuffle which I think is assessed end of March and that should give us a little boost. |
Posted at 06/1/2025 16:57 by waterloo01 Sp should offset the withholding tax in tax wrappers. Unfortunately I hold most in isa, so 1st 19% of any dividend is lost to me. |
Posted at 18/11/2024 19:12 by qs99 haha, Glavey, love that burst out laughing...yes love a bit of Taramas, when combined with buying ATYM at this price.LSE posts interesting around solar panels and AI/Cloud energy.....DYOR |
Posted at 15/10/2024 07:54 by robmcelf2 AtYM share price Gains since late July taken out in 2 days (with maybe a bigger drop to come). The long term picture for this company is very positive but progress is just a bit slow in 2024. The 2024 highlight for me is that Touro has been granted strategic status. Hopefully momentum can build now towards a better 2025 and copper prices will remain supportive. AIMHO! |
Posted at 14/10/2024 14:35 by qs99 Good spot and indeed. Hopefully a small bump in the road, copper price holding up well, but ATYM need to deliver meaningful updates not cut & paste on things like Touro etc. DYOR |
Posted at 14/10/2024 12:34 by robmcelf2 Previously ATYM had a reputation of under promising and over delivering - need to get back to those times!! |
Posted at 07/10/2024 06:08 by robmcelf2 Q3 ops update for ATYM on 14 Oct. Let's hope for some good progress on the variety of initiatives the company is undertaking. |
Posted at 26/9/2024 19:46 by qs99 Evening all, i've tried to hold back from posting, too much excitement at seeing my thoughts around rate cuts, $ weakness coming home to roost.....chinese stimulus has also helped as Goldmans had about 3 weeks ago cut its forecasts on copper as we know DUE to china, so maybe that was premature.......ChinDYOR and roll on a fiver and more for ATYM.... |
Posted at 17/9/2024 12:41 by rougepierre Impressive Quirky...we have c45k and s/o else on here that I know has more than that...Given that this is an established copper producer on mainland Europe with routes to market plus all the pending improvements and opportunities, I believe an opening bid would have to be a minimum of £6... I had always thought that the most likely bidder was Trafigura until they sold their MATSA mine to Sandfire, who I would now make favourites. MATSA was producing 4.4 million tonnes of copper ore a year whereas ATYM is producing almost four times that amount. It was sold for $1.865 billion when the copper price was c$4.50... So why wouldn't ATYM fetch at least £10 for a successful bid. Certainly I've massively increased my stake on a significant rerate when we enter FTSE250 and on all the other pending news... But at the back of my mind I'm expecting a bid approach eventually, so why not now before all that share price enhancing news hits the market...? |
