Yes I think they have about $10m committed, but don't think much is in the price and their attention is already elsewhere, not ones to stand still for long. Still explains the drop to 3.20 in a rising copper market.

On a Positive front, copper price heading back up again and the reserves resources update due any time now as is the result of the ELiX feasibility study..

I see that Galicia press is carrying an article today claiming that the Touro mine negative environmental impact assessment has been confirmed and issued to atym. Let's see if we get an RNS in the next few days. I don't believe anything was priced in share price targets by Cannacord on Touro being approved but it is a setback nevertheless if true. just done a bit of simple research to illustrate the value both future and present of Atalaya:

Global requirements for copper is expected to grow by 20% over the next 20 years

Copper used in cars:

Diesel petrol 30 lbs

hybrid car (HEV) 85 lbs

Battery car (BEV) 183 lbs

The future looks good for Atalaya as we increase production and open up more copper sources!!!

I have been an investor here since EMED, looking forward to more profit than I have at the moment.

The mayor thanked Enrique Delgado "for all the information he has provided, and most importantly, knowing that the project does not stop , that it is continuing and it is expected that it can be launched in the not too distant future."

Share price still consolidating but with so much news flow due in the next month or so and copper still well over $4 per pound, hopefully will be heading back up north soon.

Hard to put a figure on how much potential/worth..

It is an industrial plant based on a new metallurgical technology developed in Riotinto by Lain Technologies, with the support of Atalaya, and named E-LIX. The new plant would process part of the concentrate that is currently produced at the Huelva farm , which contains 23% metal, to produce a minimum of 10,000 tons of pure copper.

Alberto Lavandeira was grateful for the visit of the president of the Provincial Council and explained that “fate gave us the great opportunity to put a brilliant researcher, Eva Laín, on our way, and to help her all these years in the process of develop this fantastic idea that you have carried out. This is a new system that will mean a change in the rules of the game for the future of many complex sulfide deposits around the world, but especially in the Pyrite Belt ”.

Cheers Stockready, whatever the number every tick up in copper should drop pretty much onto the bottom line. (Copper now $4.35). Not sure I know enough about SOLG, although hold a few as I do Kefi. I think some of the issues at SOLG are partly down to Mather in that he seems to have created some division amongst the large holders about the right path forward. The resources however look good, but a long way from production.

Also i am taking some position in RR. not a miner stock or AIM , but money to be made medium terms. They are very cheap i say but got to hold it for 12 months and ignore the short term ups and down.


Regarding ATYM this is a giant which is about to wake up
I always said it will happen and believe me we have seen nothing yet
Those times of play by MM long gone big players are here now

50kt is around 110m lb I think . So 10c at that would be 11m USD extra revenue. How much of that would come off increased downstream costs? I guess smelter fees, tax, possibly Astor deferred consideration too. Anything else?

What is your view of SOLG ? I also have been watching them for a while now and didn't like the drop today however could be a good chance to buy.
Also not sure why the current CEO leaving ! They say he is retiring but somehow i feel there is more too it

I have added small amount of KEFI i think they have potentials but also high risks, however if the hit it big the reward is substantial, under current market

I am looking for good small capital Pt company, seen Silvania but think there few issue there and over rated, anything that you like lately on top of what you have shared already.

A lot....their presentation Jan 21 was talking of 2021 EBITA of c.150m, so reckon copper was around $3.5 at that time, DYOR, so now approaching $1 higher c.25% so has to be adding a whole load of hay onto that number IMO making its EV/EBITDA numbers look even more attractive IMO....

Also have TKO for overnight results, CAML/JLP/GLEN, all should IMO benefit....
