19/9/2017 08:30 | Our next news flow: October Q3 tonnage numbers + progress report October fresh presentation on the website..? October PRT expansion feasibility report + updated 43-101 (due early Q4) November Q3 financials Touro permitting updates.. Plenty to look forward to here as we push on with Copper heading back towards $3.00 again as the metals traders have their fun and games on the LME/COMEX.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
18/9/2017 10:46 | Cheers. For those 'worried' about Touro, I suspect the environmentalist will try and delay approvals, so given our past history of permitting, it will likely push further into 2018, which oddly will please some. More stale bulls exiting today? | waterloo01
18/9/2017 10:39 | in A Coruña, September 18, 2017 (11:06 CET) Explotaciones Gallegas and Atalaya Mining are advancing in their objective of reopening the Touro copper mine. The company created to lead the exploitation project, which is currently in the exhibition phase after being published in the DOGA , has just increased capital by five million euros. The Copper San Rafael movement has been registered in the Mercantile Registry, as well as the incorporation as administrator of Alberto Lavandeira , former president of Río Narcea and responsible for the two initiatives that Atalaya has launched in Spain, the Rio Tinto mine in Huelva and the project Touro. So far, Copper San Rafael had a capital of only 3,000 euros and was managed by Eva Gómez Portela, representative of Explotaciones Gallegas, its sole partner. The Galician company, which extracts aggregates from the Touro mine, forged an alliance with Atalaya to resume the extraction of copper in the area. According to Atalaya Mining, the agreement implies that it will provide "capital, know-how and technology" to carry out the exploitation. As the project progresses, it will increase its participation in the capital of Explotaciones Gallegas. According to the documentation sent to the Xunta, the companies will develop an open pit mine of 700 hectares in the localities of Touro and O Pino. The planned investment is 200 million. | waterloo01
18/9/2017 10:30 | $2.985 as it stands so does seemed to have bounced. Will $3.00 prove resistance or will it shoot through? dudham99, not sure why you removed the post but tend to agree they won't and probably shouldn't hold back from developing Touro. | waterloo01
18/9/2017 09:07 | Interesting to get your thoughts on timeline.., I guess we will have to wait and see, but some updates won't be far away now.. In addition to any China demand, Bloomberg are reporting a parallel growth curve in India, and any growth relies on Copper to power and plug it all together regardless of what you do in the buildings put up.. We are in the right business for the next 10/20 years for sure, and with a current 15/20 year project LOM, very well positioned to capitalise on it all as it unfolds. $3.00+ Copper returning this week now the traders have moved from shorts to longs..? | laurence llewelyn binliner
17/9/2017 11:49 | LLB FWIW my view is providing there's enough confidence and the economics look right why not borrow £10 to make £100 to achieve your objectives and those of others sooner. I think we may see approval given to PRT's expansion within a month or so and the key licences granted on Touro some time in 2018. Under those circumstances I can't see Alberto and the other Directors wanting to delay moving forward if the price of copper continues to strengthen and even more so if the exchange rate improves too. Also I'm sure the Touro licenses will be granted subject to an agreed time frame. Both the Junta and current land owner will want to expedite the mines development and payments as soon as posible I think. So fingers crossed I'm hoping we might see a shorter road map than yours. 16/9/2017 13:27 | Another week, another EUR1.25M EBITDA.. and we will wipe out the trade payables before FY2017 is out, then build a cash surplus ahead of starting on Astor.. As every day/week/month passes the company is getting more valuable regardless of what the share price does, and sooner or later we will re-rate to a sensible PE.. Recent peaks of 165p in Jan then 195p in August were both Copper price spike driven and bound to be traded into, longer term we will have our rewards/dividends.. A sensible project road map..? 2017 - eliminate trade payable debts 2018 - deal with Astor 2019 - build funds for the PRT expansion from cash surplus 2020 - build PRT expansion 2021 - fund Touro 2022 - build Touro | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/9/2017 09:23 | The very fact that II buyers and private buyers are mopping up the available shares is encouraging. This buying certainly gives me confidence that ATYM is now well positioned after years of uncertainty. Only 2 more weeks in Q3. The share price has dropped since Q2/H1 figures, however the 18/24 month prospects are positive and the price will react accordingly. Scargs | scargs
15/9/2017 15:23 | We have II buyers accumulating and now a £50k buy just printed. | waterloo01
15/9/2017 13:57 | Yes, a 30,000 share purchase yesterday has been reported today and two separate share purchases (30,000 and 50,000)on 12/9 reported on the 14/9. Sells are being mopped up. Scargs | scargs
15/9/2017 13:32 | Delayed trades left, right and center! No wonder we mortals struggle!! | shortarm
15/9/2017 10:28 | Probably not waterloo... | rougepierre
15/9/2017 09:49 | Copper back through $3.00 today? | waterloo01
15/9/2017 08:33 | Stock, It is a view and it could come true only time will tell. The one point I do agree with you on is probable timeline to bring Touro to production will be longer term. I do need to read up on present condition of Touro to narrow this time line because I have 4 to 7 years in mind at the moment | acamas
14/9/2017 18:49 | I'm fairly sure the II buyers are still around and not surprising, given the undervaluation, that they will take advantage of the drop. Didn't notice many/any big sells on the drop, just PI's. II are building positions IMO | waterloo01
14/9/2017 18:16 | Couple of big buys there! | shortarm
14/9/2017 16:15 | Well, the share price seems to have bounced quite decisively off the 61.8% fib retracement. Not what I was expecting but very welcome! | sirmoori
14/9/2017 13:05 | Time for it bounce (copper) IMO | waterloo01 |
