The Eco warriors were always going to put their tuppence in, it's just part of the permitting journey #waterloo01, if this takes a year or 2, then funding, then the plant building, we could be 4/5 years down the road to producing at Touro which is fine, the Ore is still in the ground and it's not going anywhere giving us more time to build our cash pile to fund it.., I'm in favour of more time to build up the the companies cash position rather than taking on debt to service, most miners are built on a debt pile which at 8/10% interest adds to costs and will erode our dividend pot too, I don't see Copper tanking any time soon now we are in the early stages of a long term Green energy EV revolution.. time is on our side now and we can just let the Copper price play out, PRT expansion first and foremost which will accelerate earnings..

That said, the whole Touro project would of course add to profits even if it is all built on debt, compared to not doing it, but leaving it a few years until we don't need to borrow so much I would have thought the better route when we have a more robust cash position and we won't be so vulnerable to market fluctuations and surprises...

With Q3 done, my best guess calcs:
Average market Copper price $2.88/lb
Realised Copper price $2.765 after Tc/Rc costs, impurity penalties and Silver credits
Copper produced 9250 Tonnes
Payable Copper 8880 Tonnes / 19.5M/lbs
Cash costs need to be $2.00 or less to hit the reiterated FY guidance of $1.90-$2.10
Cash margin $0.88/lb
EBITDA $17.16M / EUR14.75M
Bottom line profits cEUR8.6M (subject to how much PRT expansion preparatory work is done/paid for in Q3)

On current progress rate we will flatten all the trade payable's due by November, and have a positive working capital position going forward to start on Astor before Xmas.

2 weeks until we get the next update then I can adjust the tonnages more accurately and tweek my model which is slowly getting better.. :o)

Not surprising that the environmental lobby are against Touro (so are some of the shareholders, but for different reasons).

Nothing 'unusual' as there are always environmental concerns which rightly need to be addressed.

RP, Have just purchased Canadian National Railways.HOC has dropped in price certainly tempting at £2.20, but still a very volatile share.

Sold all those additional shares for a small gain and reinvested more ATYM proceeds to switch heavily into increasing my gold and silver holdings (and a massively undervalued copper play (SOLG below) IMHO)...

mainly HOC, but also SOLG, AAZ, CNR

GLA...still holding above my long term stake in ATYM...
