08/11/2016 13:18 | So Majedie picked up nearly 400k shares in October. From the hands of the impatient to the patient, and no holding RNS so one can assume they are not finished or is it just under the % change needed to report? | waterloo01
08/11/2016 11:39 | And sorting out Astor and I believe the last bit of financing. Or do we become self-financing at some point in the copper price and if so what is that point? | husbod
08/11/2016 11:30 | The company has "pulled its finger out" in a most extraordinary fashion: delivery of this project since AL took control has been turbo charged. Significantly under budget. Expansion delivered early. Every possible technical stop being pulled out re grade and recovery and ongoing cash costs are more than respectable. Little more can be done by the company: it is simply down to the price of copper now. | charlieeee
08/11/2016 10:51 | playing a canny game ? building the excitement ? You forget most bought in at the placing ? £1.42. A 60% rise needed for major investors and some PI's to break even. If not more. Co needs to pull its finger out and work at that. Once that's been achieved then we can talk about excitement. | vish65
08/11/2016 10:23 | Copper bear market has ended...massive deficits as early as 2018... | rougepierre
08/11/2016 10:15 | Excellent presentation, missing only the EBITDA position now... Certainly supports the recent price rise... Expecting net positive cashflow/EBITDA in the Financials, followed by Buys for the unfettered Directors...surely the CFO at least... Could AL be playing a canny game...building the excitement... "improving working capital" Projected EV/EBITDA 2.4 times in 2017...does that give the clue to maiden EBITDA in Q3? Meanwhile, MTR up 14%... GLA | rougepierre
08/11/2016 09:58 | Good presentation. | spcecks
08/11/2016 09:47 | Well that confirms Orion is not the seller so as already stated by Shortarm van's statement to this effect was plain wrong. As usual a mix of fact and fiction. So it looks like a relatively small holder/holders is/are the 5k culprits. The market though is completely underwhelmed........ Presumably the directors remain unable to buy until after the Financial Report due at the end of this month. | husbod
08/11/2016 08:27 | Also, max buy online of 3k and I'm bid 88p for 10K....Mr 5K a day selling at 86.26???Just send em to me lad, I'll even buy you a pint out of the profits :-P | shortarm
08/11/2016 08:26 | Apologies for the inaccurate information regarding Majedie as it was late when looking at presentation and my eyes must have been playing tricks with me. | iankn73
08/11/2016 08:24 | Excellent presentation full of FACTS!! | shortarm
08/11/2016 08:06 | Impurities down. Recovery % up. Excellent C1 cost. Great presentation! | superbobtaylor
08/11/2016 08:04 | Majedie Asset Management 7,067,462 shares 6.1% @ 28.10.2016 But look at the recovery rate.. 87%, the C1/2/3 costs for 17/18/19, and the declining impurities... :o) 92% nameplate capacity at end of October 8.75MTPA. We are making money @ $1.80 costs, not accounting for depreciation.. Very nice update.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
08/11/2016 07:56 | Majedie have not reduced, they have increased holding. 6.1% holding on page 21 | waterloo01
08/11/2016 07:51 | C1 $1.78 and C3 of $2.00. | waterloo01
08/11/2016 07:30 | As usual, Van making things up!!! | shortarm
08/11/2016 06:18 | That looks to be the case Iankn, mutual funds do have to rebalance in line with inflows/outflows. Also their holding announcement was in January therefore they may well be taking a profit on their holding if their average is lower having been accumulated during the low point in the share price prior to that time. Perhaps the key point is that after such offloading, the 5k a day, the share price still moves up a couple of pence a time when buys come in. Maybe the mm’s already have another buyer without interest from pi’s? | rich1e
08/11/2016 00:38 | It looks like Majedie have been offloading some shares. If you look at page 21 October presentation figures: Holder # shares % ISC Urion Mining International (Trafigura) 25,684,344 22.0 Yanggu Xiangguang Copper (XGC) 25,588,527 21.9 Orion Mine Finance 16,986,609 14.6 Liberty Metals & Mining 16,315,789 14.0 Majedie Asset Management 7,067,462 6.1 And then look at page 21 November Presentation figures: Holder # shares % ISC Urion Mining International (Trafigura) 25,684,344 22.0 Yanggu Xiangguang Copper (XGC) 25,588,527 21.9 Orion Mine Finance 16,986,609 14.6 Liberty Metals & Mining 16,315,789 14.0 Majedie Asset Management 6,638,281 5.7 They have gone from 6.1% to 5.7% so far..... this may explain our 5K a day seller?? | iankn73
08/11/2016 00:19 | November presentation peeps. hxxp://atalayamining | iankn73
07/11/2016 21:45 | I'm more optimistic LLB...positive cashflow and EBITDA in Q3 IMHO... | rougepierre
07/11/2016 17:21 | Another strong day, that's 2 +100K volume days on the bounce, and mostly 'buys' too, Copper $2.30lb+, getting ready for the Q3 financials and the closed period ending to permit some director buying. I'm expecting reduced losses, maybe a scratch Q but a maiden profit will come from Q4. Our 1st Q running at 9.5MTPA will be Q1 2017 so the results won't be representative of full potential until then. After so many painful years holding here, these are exciting times as it all comes together, and the project timing pitches us into a rising Copper trend with much more to come.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/11/2016 16:54 | most surefire way of catching fire imo is some director buying. | husbod
07/11/2016 16:46 | So..to put it another way... Copper is over $5,000 dollars a tonne...DESPITE...th Back above $2.30 guys... ATYM up another 5.39%...at $2.30 we're making $23m a year EBITDA...(net cashflow)... What happens when this catches fire...? Cheers | rougepierre
07/11/2016 15:36 | Revised calculations...MMs still short of 56,000 shares since Friday's open... | rougepierre |
