Nevertheless I remain unconvinced as to the usefullness of the booster against omicron, clearly it is not stopping its rapid spread, its a mild disease anyway (so govt should not be using the argument it reduces severity of illness) and if you have had two doses of AZN vaccine why take on the additional risks from taking Pfizer?

Jimarilo filtered, should have done it ages ago. Swearing at people does nothing for your argument. The risk from Covid remains much higher than the risk from the vaccine, which is why 90% of seriously ill Covid patients in hospital are from the 10% of the population who are unvaccinated.

The risk from Covid is far greater than the risk from a vaccine, not to mention the consequence of the unvaccinated overloading the NHS and transmitting Covid to friends, family and the public generally, even more so with Omnicron.
