Unfortunately the data we have on infection (both symptomatic and asymptomatic), transmission and mortality rates for the vaccinated vs the unvaccinated shows the opposite of Dr Palevsky's unsubstantiated claims.

AstraZeneca PLC said Thursday that its Covid-19 antibody combination Evusheld retains neutralization activity against the Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant.

The drug major said the result follows a study independently performed by investigators at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.

It added that extra analysis to evaluate Evusheld against the Omicron variant are being conducted by AstraZeneca and third-party laboratori

I believe the NHS are using either Pfizer or Moderna for the 'booster shot' ...I had the Moderna booster yesterday at my local vaccination centre. No side effects so far apart from the slightly aching arm where the jab went in, just about back to normal today.

Markets worldwide are taking the view that the Omicron variant is going to be a good development

The thought being that it will put Delta out of business and everyone will develop herd immunity at the same time that acquires it

Something that will never ever happen worldwide with vaccine shots

Are the markets correct ?

By the end of the first week of Jan 2022 we should imo know the answer to that one

If it does give us all herd immunity within 6 to 8 weeks then many Pharma companies are going to lose out bigtime imo

Happy to add now at these levels sub 8100 this area above 8000 has tended to hold as support since June and has been tested on a number of occasions. Contrarian trade today as we see AZN down 3.2% and Ftse up plus 100 points !!
