01/4/2014 20:26 | James - Napp plan to commence AIM Market admission process during 2013. Do you know any more about that. Have put below a link from their website confirming their strategy. Surely they are not allowed to reverse into ACTA - or are they? hxxp://www.napetrole | g1g4lo

01/4/2014 16:29 | 16:25 01/04/2014 [stubbsy1] MY Afternoon mate, all good things come to those that wait There really is some compelling reading in Mexico for this new reform, like this. Its quite amazing that Mexico imports some of its gas! MEXICO CITY, Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto signed a controversial law Friday, December 20, that opens Mexico's oil industry to foreign investment for the first time in 75 years. The bill, which modifies three articles of Mexico's constitution, is aimed at attracting foreign investment with profit and production sharing contracts. The measure breaks a monopoly that the state oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), has held since 1938. This is "one of the most transcendent bills in the past half-century," Peña Nieto said, arguing that it has the potential to lead to fast economic growth and create jobs for Mexican engineers and technicians. It will also lead to a drop in the price of natural gas and electricity, and an increase in food production because a strong petrochemical industry will produce more affordable fertilizer, Peña Nieto said. The president signed the measure into law after it was approved in Congress and after it was ratified by a majority of Mexican states. Oil output has dropped from 3.4 million barrels per day in 2004 to 2.5 million today because of what the bill's supporters say is underinvestment. Mexico currently imports half the gasoline it consumes | acta_topup
01/4/2014 16:29 | Some interesting posts from LSE 16:21 01/04/2014 [MY21] stubbsy1 Watch out for the same shareholders in NAP popping up here as shareholders in a news release soon. This will validate the new directors know what they are doing. Nobody knows including them what the potential is in Mexico but once they have found a target the fun begins. They have the Zinc and the MAGP projects in NAP which look compelling on a 12-18 months timeframe. However; they may well need to raise a couple of Millions from shareholders when they find a target. The attraction is options do not kick in until the share price is 100% higher than today. | acta_topup

31/3/2014 19:32 | ASTA's new CEO Stefan Olivier will be doing the same here as he is doing at NAP .......... "We have shown our ability to pick up assets at attractive rates at a dollar per proven barrel basis that is well inside the national average," NAP's managing director Stefan Olivier recently told Proactive Investors. "We can pick up fields producing 10 barrels and build them up to 100 barrels which as we are a small oil and gas company is significant for us. The key to all our projects is they have production with a lot of development upside." Zink Ranch is just one of Northcote's investments. As Northcote kicked off 2014's development programme last month chief executive Randy Connally was confident of hitting a 250 barrel per day production target. In the current work programme as many as five wells will be drilled, and potentially 30 thirty existing wells will be recompleted. Between them, this clutch of oil and gas investors has a very busy twelve months ahead. | phalen
