saturn5: the big advantage aim has over FTSE is that you can pass the share onto your kids without paying any death duties etc (which is a 50% advantage over FTSE if you want to pass stuff on).

If I sell now where can I put the cash for any gain ?

A T/O would give us some chance say at £50

Otherwise we are not going anywhere this year.

I hope that 29% holder does something with the i9nvestment

...well I read it as a positive. 0.4% margin fall compared to 22% retail sales increase - just using BASIC MATHS equates to a massive rise in gross PROFIT!!

Haven't you even got a Maths GCSE?

It is inconceivable that a continued falling gross margin could be read as a positive. Already know that xmas was ok, It is the new year sales that are questionable.
No man is an island but ol' Robertson is still sitting on his with nothing but a pile of shares.

Early market appears to dislike figures - I still think this will finish up on day. Figures seem good to me.

£5 / £6 / £7 seems on the face of it, reasonable mid to long term targets.
From this link it appears ASOS traffic rose strongly in dec/jan

netcurtains if your goth delinquent offspring could spell then they would know that DOC Martens is incorrect. Try doing a web search on Dr. Martens and ASOS is no where to be seen.

On the gross margin I wonder that the war on currency is going to look big in this.

Thanks Tree. I'm well in profit in BOO. But still down in ASOS (ASOS fell further - but on the up side, perhaps the bounce back will be extra big)....
