Boohoo is my sector pick based on. Alan ce sheet strength but anyone thinking asos is not still a great business and a great buy at these prices is mad. They will be around in 5 years and in a much better place.

OUTLOOK FOR THE YEAR AHEAD

Trading has remained volatile into the start of Financial Year 2023, with September 2022 trading showing a slight improvement relative to August 2022.

Against the backdrop of significant volatility in the macroeconomic environment, it is very difficult to predict consumer demand patterns for the upcoming year.

Within the UK, ASOS expects a DECLINE in the apparel market over the next 12 months.

Decent

Strong Topshop performance (+105%) reinforcing revenue growth
in the UK, US and EU and driving margin expansion

+7% in uk - 9% roW

Need to focus more in uk as they are still building market share. 90%+ fall from highs, a lot is already priced in, recovery will be U not V shaped.

Attractive to a US conglomerate at these levels, see how it plays out this quarter
