yes, they can Zoom and Skype in their new togs, until the crisis passes. Or see each other from 2m whilst exercising.
I think sports gear might get a boost!

6 months time they will be buying the latest trends what about what they are supposedly buying now,it will be old hat to them.maybe they are going to dress up and have online parties in their latest gear.Only my opinion but I am entitled to it just the same as anybody else.

I think the young people are more optimistic than some grown ups. This isn't going to last forever and when it's all said and done life will go on and they will be all ready to make up for the time that was lost. Wearing the latest trends that that had ample time to browse online and buy

I can relate to you. My son took his school travel and lunch money for the rest of the term and bought a whole lot of clothes online from boohoo. My daughter who is now home from uni is also shopping online. With the teens now home with no options but to shop online is doing so.

balaura. My sales on Amazon are non clothing and are up significantly.
My sales of new clothing and footwear on eBay are down 20-30% on a turnover of around 500k pa. Obviously insignificant in size compared to ASOS.
I would not be surprised if ASOS sales fall by a similar percentage.
My A level student daughter has lost her job, summer holiday and her social life. She is not looking to buy clothing and footwear at the moment.
My sister is a self employed dental hygienist working at multiple dental practices where her contacts have been stopped and she will not be entitled to government help, so has this week become one of the million signing on for job seekers allowance.
On my industrial estate there are 8 business. 3 have mothballed. A steel fabricator has orders but no materials (china shutdown)and shuts today. The other 4 businesses continue trading making use of the 80% wage furlough on significantly lower sales.

Totally agree, myself and son have ordered with ASOS due to other stores closed, and need to buy my partner Birthday presents. Know lots of my friends ordering lounge wear and gym wear from them too as only excitement!!

darrin471. I'm the opposite! I don't but clothes from Amazon any longer. Bought recently stuff worth £340 from Asos, especially their own brand. Wearing my Assos leggings as I type ;-). Returned only about £70 worth. Returns are now completely paperless for the customer, and easier than ever! Fill the form online, take your own unique barcode to the post office/corner shop and they print and attach a label for you! Also, there is no signing for deliveries, they take a picture of your parcel left on your door! As a customer, I feel safe and looked after! Better than any other online retailer!

"What profits warnings? Shopping online is the main joy for lockdown people!"

As I have been posting. My non clothing Amazon sales are small but up significantly.
My online clothing and footwear sales are down 20-30% year on year and still falling.
