That dow chart is definitely saying recession. If we're lucky. Huge moves not uncommon in bear markets.

I can see the world is expecting a recession looking at that Dow Chart today - as I said earlier the markets look 18 months ahead not to the end of its nose

The last time we were in this position, markets took 64 years to reach the bottom and another 35 to recover. I guess even the youngest people here have seen their life time high of the DOW

People will soon get the fact that people can still shop online - whilst numbers may be down they are not as down as the share price is suggesting - the penny will drop shortly but some will have to pay a premium to the lows

THE LATEST FROM THE BOARDROOM

ASOS has delivered an encouraging start to the year. Strong customer acquisition activity supported by robust operational performance has driven good momentum in all our markets. As we said in October, the focus for this year is to further enhance our capabilities and leverage the investments we have made. It is still early in the year and much remains to be done, but we are encouraged by the progress we have made so far. We remain confident in our ability to capture the substantial opportunity ahead of us.

The US markets are opening very strong today, and will lift the FTSE and good Aim stocks higher
Asos with a strong sales will push higher to 1250-1300

Still a possibility of a takeover approach by a US stock or UK retailer
