Mrpiggy - I can't understand why Beaufort's clients' holdings would need to be sold, rather than being transferred to new brokers. What am I missing?

YeSs MT, I Seem to remember Dominic from the old Oxiana Minerals days, The Mighty Ox, and the bringing to production of the Sepon mine in Laos. So successful , the share price had a starting off price of 2 cents and rose to over $4.50. I remember right through this journey the naysayers bagging the company with all the usual, never fall in love with a stock, it will come tumbling down, there are too many placements etc etc. one of my best mates got in with me at 3 cents and walked away at 6 cents following his golden rule of taking half off the table at 50% and the rest at 100% profit. There was also a long period of around 40 cents just before production and when production started she absolutely flew from that point. Very happy we have Dominic on board plus we believe some others to join us at a Board and operational management level. The micro thinking of STEVE leaving his daily role was absurd. The company is now growing beautifully.

Indeed snickerdog. Got to be excited with BFS, new appointments, Beutong 80%, first assays and deeper drilling to start there too. Not many companies with this much material news coming over the next month or so

Dominic Heaton is an outstanding appointment - over the last 15 years he has either been deeply involved at a senior management level or had ultimate responsibility for the development of TWO junior SE Asian based mining exploration companies - Oxiana and Masan - through to multi $bn dollar market cap producers.

After stepping down last year as CEO at Masan after 7 years, he now performs an overseeing role as Head of Strategic Initiatives for them.

Considering the world class assets he and his former Oxiana Metals colleagues at Asia Met have to work with, the prospects look outstanding for the team to deliver yet another junior exploration miner to $bn producer development story!

'BHP's Escondida copper mine in Chile said on Friday the union representing its workers has kicked off the latest round of labor negotiations with a contract proposal that includes a bonus of about $34,000 per worker at the world's largest copper mine.

The closely-watched talks come little more than one year after failure to reach a labor deal at the mine led to a 44-day strike that jolted the global copper market.

"The proposal is being evaluated by the company's negotiation commission, and we have 10 business days to respond," the mine said in a statement.
