Dorset - you wrote ... No-one ever asks these same questions of why people buy in 100k chunks when the share price is rising...That is surely because the company is currently so undervalued that one would expect the stock to be in net demand, which should mean regular buying. But what we are seeing is regular selling instead and that must raise the inevitable questions. I remain overall bullish but the market is fickle and patience is required here.

Delboy I do think you're barking up the wrong tree here and, as mentioned above there are plenty of pi's that post just on this one advfn page that could sell 100k lots for 7-10 days, in fact I'm one myself but many many more out there in the world.

I 100% don't believe it to be JPM selling and is just pi's shuffling their holdings for tax reasons or other reasons we will never know. No-one ever asks these same questions of why people buy in 100k chunks when the share price is rising.

The only question you have to ask yourself is to look at the fundamentals here, what do we have, what could we have, why are the BoD's only paying themselves in shares instead of taking £millions out in salaries when they could be etc etc.

Just look at whats coming up with regards to near term news and if your still worried about your investment, then simply sell up & move on to the next one although I doubt you'll find a more compelling investment right now that Ars, but please do correct me if I'm wrong as I won't be selling anything and will keep accumulating when & where I can.

Del-A-M - some PI's could sell 100k a day for weeks, even months and still not exhaust their holding.

Edit
The current market dynamics are relatively quiet compared to 2/3 months prior to the announcement of the JP Morgan placing where every spike was mercilessly sold into via machine gun attacks of 100k to 500k hits.

Relax, the stock always consolidates for a short period following rises - look at the yearly chart on the ADVFN desktop and you will see. As they get stuck into Beutong and closer to the BKM Feasibility study then we will see action. Remember that the maiden resource estimates for BKZ should be due soon as well - top layer of high-grade poly metallic and lower level of copper silver. That's 2 new resources for the price of one.

I understand where you all going but millions have been sold in blocks of 100k and who would have such a holding otherwise. Can't wait for Steve's interview and hope it's makes us all more confident than we all are already. Sorry this seller is really upsetting and annoying me.keeping our share price down. Sorry-guys and gals I will shut up now. Delboy

Delboy, just a few loose shares in market JPM won't be selling at these levels especially before Beutong and the Feasibility study - not their style especially with quality of these projects and Copper going the way it is. Looking forward to Steve Hughes interview tomorrow.

Delboy,

I think you're stating an opinion, not a fact.

If it really is JPM, surely they'd have crossed a threshold by now, what with all the millions you think they've sold, I don't recall an RNS.

Hi I'm not here to cause trouble as I have 600.000 shares in here but the constant 100k shares being sold in bulk everyday. Who else would have a large holding then. And be able to sell all these from November. millions have been sold.

Hi Dell, Good point, however, usually when you are given the opportunity of being a cornerstone investor you don’t normally dribble them out if you want to make two and six. To make double for these guys is nothing. They want to twenty bag their investment.
They would normally contact Tony and have a chat and see if they can’t find a home for what they want to sell. Normal practice. Tony would have a chat and fund a home
Don’t find conspiracy theories when then they arnt there.

Yesterday people fired into me for expressing my personal views on who are selling large blocks of 100k. For any investor your aim is to make a profit otherwise you wouldn't invest in the first place.so why is not possible for a large investor to make profit on there original investment and run free with no risks even if they know what's to come in the future. Haven't we all done that in the past. I didn't mean to upset people I am just stating a fact.

I've added the 1 year and 5 year Warehouse Stock charts to the 'More Charts' section of the header.

The stock does seem to jump like that every two or so months. Either they get a huge shipment in or perhaps they do a physical stock-take and adjust to reality?

The LME has lost all credibility as an accurate barometer of warehouse stock. Judging by the copper stocks chart it looks to be a plaything for various trading houses.

Odd that 100,000 tons of copper have magically appeared at the LME though?? (according to Kitco anyway)

Personally prefer a bid late Q3/4 2018 when most of the ducks are lined up value wise to get the best value out of any approach:JV.
The Beutong PEA will be interesting....
