The 1.5 m was a sell from yesterday which explains yesterday's fall.

I suspect a new fund buying in as the MM have kept this so low on good buy volume for several days now. Added to ISA with 50k at 9.1p

CC - share price price behaviour is broadly similar to that seen during the summer prior to the announcement of the JP Morgan placing - where the long list of strong news produced share price spikes that were systematically sold into in volume.

The FCA report that some 20% of all share trading transactions on the London Markets prior to a company announcing a placing are 'suspect' BUT laughably claim 'progress' is being made because this is down from 30%+ from a decade ago!

Uncharacteristically down 4% again today. Something is causing it and I think we will find out soon. A placing would not surprise me.

Reading the term 'tree shake' and market maker conspiracies is also disappointing. I've been watching and waiting for three months on this B.B. not convinced enough to invest (yet).Latest rns regarding chap leaving the board is interesting.

Regarding cyberhub's comment

This does not apply to ARS.

"Well let's see. If an institution wanted to come on board with £2.5M say then that would be a very good vote of confidence."

I do not buy into that.

Institutions throw good money after bad into the diabolical run Cos..all this 'due diligence' before giving money is tosh too.

I wish ppl just would not say comments like..it shows naivety

Oh is it? Sorry I must have misunderstood... not been here as long as some :-) That's a bit more encouraging... I suppose there is a higher chance of a deferment then, but Asiamet has the obligation so it's entirely in the other company's hands...

Cyber the payment to take us to 60% isn't owed to the Indonesian government it's owed to an old partner a media group who are reportedly quite laid back and flexible

Well let's see. If an institution wanted to come on board with £2.5M say then that would be a very good vote of confidence. Not sure the Indo Govt would be very willing to defer the 60% payment after having been hassled by Asiamet to issue the PL!Or maybe I'm wrong, and the info reported earlier today allegedly from Asiamet IR is accurate and there won't be any fundraising.

Cyber, they won’t meet it from the 6m. They were very clear on the purpose of the 6m raise. The move to 60% will either be deferrred or equity or a combination of both.

Well they said within 90 days so the payment is due by the end of Q1. Of course it's entirely possible they can meet it from within the £6M previously raised.

They raised £6M just 5 months ago. If they need any more this soon, I can only assume it's to pay the fee to increase their holding in Beutong to 60%, which is about £1.7M. Throw in a bit to advance Beutong exploration and for working capital and perhaps they might need £2.5M? At say 8p it would be only 30M extra shares, minimal dilution to move the company's monster asset base forward. If that's the plan then let's just get on with it ASAP I say.

Mark look at dates of RNS on last two placings and then look at the chart and way the price reacted immediately afterwards.

Past performance no guarantee of future success of course

Placement if at say 9 would kick the price back into another uptick. The market loves certainties. The BEUTONG news would then start to be valued in. Any short term downside will soon be recovered.
Funny about investments, no one likes to see their value being eroded even with ARS which we know is a multi bagger.
