Seen this kind of price action before elsewhere and someone mentioned dma users taking shares directly from the sell side.

That's just a fake drop - you could still sell lots over 6.8 on the bell It's irrelevant anyway , 5.8, 6.8 , 7.8 , all the same as far as I'm concerned, wake me up at 20p

On the other hand a nice bull flag is developing around this price level. could springboard the price to 9.5p fairly soon imho.

They should make a new TV show called "Worlds craziest share decisions" and interview the fools that think selling this stock at 6.8-7p was a good idea!! It will provide us with an hour of wall to wall laughter!!!

Quite surprised to see the shares lose so much of this morning's initial gain. Still in consolidation mode I suppose.

agree, adorling. The most dangerous time is the period shortly after BFS. I'd think there will be quite a few licking their chops at the asset base we are sat on. If we get the b license - we could be sat on the possibility of a 100kt a year copper producer in a few years time..! not including the zinc, or lead, or silver or gold etc......

R&J - my first price target will be 17p which values my 6m holding at £1m. My personal exit target is somewhere between 45-50p on being acquired cheaply in 2019 and I would keep a million shares until Company Sale probably between £1.30-£1.90 in 2022 based on where ARS will be by then. Highly suspect we will come into play once Beutong IUP is granted and BFS is published. Happy days ahead for sure IMO.

Hopefully we are only 4 weeks away from the Beutong IUP Mining Licence dropping and our journey to extracting 5 billion lbs of copper will begin and let's not forget that is in addition to our 1 billion at BKM. All of this copper will be well in excess of $3-4 lb IMO so a huge amount of cash being generated each and every year over LOM. I have always believed that this will be the truly transformative day for ARS as will answer the Indonesian doubters. We already see what a few strong buys can do for the ARS share price from 10:15am this morning (+11%). The scramble for shares will be fast and furious and that is why it makes sense to be in BIG before this happens IMO. 4 weeks!

From share price Angel's morning notes....

Asiamet Resources (ARS LN) 6.9p, Mkt Cap £58.2m – Additional drilling intersections from BKZ

Asiamet Resources reports additional results from its scout drilling programme at the BKZ property located approximately 800m north of its BKM copper project where feasibility study work is well advanced.
The results include a 30m wide intersection averaging 8.3% zinc, 3.3% lead, 39g/t silver and 0.51g/t gold from a depth of 14m in hole BKZ33700-03, and 8.3m averaging 4.0% zinc, 1.9% lead, 42g/t silver and 0.19g/t gold from a depth of 1.3m in hole BKZ33750-01.
Step out drilling is continuing “which we hope will continue to intersect potentially near-surface high value mineralised material at which point we may be encouraged to take a decision to advancing exploration work at BKZ to the delineation of a maiden Resource.”

Conclusion: The results reported today follow earlier results from the scout drilling at BKZ which showed similar near-surface base and precious metal mineralisation. Continuing drilling may lead to preliminary resource estimation in due course, meanwhile the company is continuing its feasibility study work on its nearby BKM project.

Yet again the MM have mugged the weak and blind sellers this morning. There are so many indicators and RNS's from ARS that this will become one of the premier copper and zinc miners in the years ahead. Don't be mugged for your shares then true valuations will be realised.

I took that 115,138 @6.85p (reported as a sell) to round up my holding to 3.0m - the price immediately moved up afterwards suggesting stock is getting scarce again, as:

L2 is now showing 6.8 v 7.0 - 1 v 1 , yet they are now offering 6.9p for decent size 'dummy' sells.

As Warren Buffet said if the story gets better "i often buy more if I can't find better value elsewhere in the market" - "be greedy when others are fearful!"

'Asiamet Intersects 30m of 8.3% Zinc at BKZ and Extends High Grade Polymetallic Discovery' 30m is equivalent to the height of a 13 storey block of flats!

'100m continuity, open laterally and at depth'

'The high-grade polymetallic mineralisation we have seen in drilling at BKZ to date is of similar grades to those reported at some of the highest quality base metals mines globally.'

'The potential to share some of the infrastructure proposed for the development of the BKM copper project provides the Company with an exceptional value adding opportunity at BKZ and other nearby prospects such as BK South and BK West.'

Remarkable results offering the prospect of outstanding low cost development potential!

Who needs Beutong?

CC.
Some selling is inevitable as the price goes up.
Many investors consider portfolio balance to be extremely important.
If a holding becomes over-weight they will automatically reduce it, particularly if that holding has more than doubled in value.
This seller may have 50 million shares so the odd 500,000 is not a large proportion.
If they are based offshore they may not have to report the reduction.

Charles - I was thinking that or more likely, cheaper fundraising when it comes after the BFS perhaps.
