15/10/2017 21:35 | First post, held ars since late 2015. Been in financial services since 1998. For an aim listed explorer to get someone like jpm onboard at this stage speaks huge volumes to what's going on behind the scenes. The due diligence they will do before investing is way more than the man on the street can do and that to me was a massive derisk. Aim in general is massively manipulated but a company like ars with real resources and a bod that are genuine and have track history in what they are doing it's a case of hold for the long term. There's going to be some trading and fluctuation but ultimately the value will come from the assets in the ground. The story of ars is compelling. The only downside is Indonesia and what is the govt going to do. That said ars have done the right thing with local relations etc. Let's see what next week brings. I hope rerate continues. I have a target of 40p within 3 yrs which with the resources and progress I feel is realistic. | yorkie ars
15/10/2017 21:13 | Any ideas why a bunch of posts from 2016 just reappeared? | mr roper
15/10/2017 20:16 | Nice to see Motley Fool highlighting ARS.... | adorling
15/10/2017 20:16 | ayesha4 - shame you sold out several months back as you have missed a huge rise since. Are you looking to get back in before the Beutong RNS Lands? Need to be quick! | adorling

15/10/2017 16:55 | People buying ARS now are in for a bagger short term now momentum has kicked in, there will be dips but i feel these will be bought upSensible targets longer term HB im still looking for 15p min by year end | maverick247
15/10/2017 14:15 | Well, I think we'll be in the 8-10p range by end of the coming week. | mr roper
15/10/2017 13:05 | Barney I'm fully loaded in HZM so any spare cash will be coming in here. :-) | twigs3
15/10/2017 11:42 | A lot of comparisons being made with SOLG | snickerdog
15/10/2017 10:14 | I would buy more to add to my near 2 million shares but my portfolio is very heavily weighted with ARS. So if any spare cash I will be putting it in HZM. GLA. | barneycosmo
15/10/2017 07:54 | I might be lumping in early morning to add to existing snicks if I can free up some funds. ( never tried lumping in snicks but prepared to give it a go!):@) | mrpiggy
15/10/2017 00:24 | ronconomics, You will not miss out in either of those situations. As snickerdog says, your bet is that the shareprice goes up and either a takeover or a re rating will bounce the price upwards and increase your profit. For myself, I feel a takeover at this stage is most unlikely but not impossible. However, a re-rating is happening right now and imo has a long way to go. My targets are for 10p before y/e and 50 - 100 p within three years. I accept that three years is a long time to wait but that doesn't bother me. | horneblower
14/10/2017 22:47 | Im in with a nice 3p average but feel i may need to add now we have broken out snd with my Tp so yes | maverick247
14/10/2017 20:23 | Anyone lumping in early Monday? early buys can often work very well | snickerdog
14/10/2017 20:21 | Hi Ron,With regards to your Spreadbet you have just taken a bet on the price of the stock. If the price reaches a certain level then your Spreadbet pays you (or you pay them if goes against you).Great for tax efficiency and leverage but make sure that you have funds to cover in case it ever goes against! | snickerdog
14/10/2017 20:08 | Mr R I agree.I'm in no rush, the ride has only just started but appreciate not everyone is in the same boat as a few posters recently informed us.I'd love to still be holding in BKM's first production year. That's why Mr.Zinc is here, it's the journey and the satisfaction of taking an exploration company to production.Let's enjoy the next 18mnths.Looking fwd to a Chinese stimulus update next week. | mattjwhity
14/10/2017 20:04 | 2017 was the year....An old one but worth reminding anyone who jumped on board in the last 10 days. | mattjwhity
14/10/2017 19:55 | Ron - the Beutong licence for starters | charles clore
14/10/2017 19:51 | Would think any takeout would need to be north of 40p to interest the bod. | mr roper
14/10/2017 19:25 | Quick question from newbie. I've got a profirable position in ARS with a spreadbetting company. Under what circumstances might i miss out if there is a takeover or in time a multiple of the share price / rerating? | ronconomics
14/10/2017 18:32 | Worth remembering that Cyber, I had temporarily forgotten about the possibility of a sale amidst all the recent excitement. And I am willing to bet the suitors will be lining up and with the top guys we have I think seem great salesmen too. We shall see soon enough I think. | charles clore
14/10/2017 18:26 | Cyber, that'll be the most opportune time for any predator and our assets are becoming more attractive by the week | mr roper
14/10/2017 18:17 | We've always said that the time for a takeover will be shortly after the BFS publication... which is only about 3-4 months away... | cyberbub |
