There has been a large seller in PANR over the past three months. It turns out to be an American subsidiary of Old Mutual who, it seems, are exempt from having to declare thresholds.
Could be the same crew?

I agree Mav market cap isn't fair value, it's nowhere near it and with every new area discovery or fantastic Copper grade and every day closer to production for BKM the valuation becomes ever more skewed

Mate no probs easy mistake, i have a core hold and a trading pot in top. Ive started loading up again based on the following:Copper strength most pundits see a firm move into the 6000 mtI believe manini will bring in some ii's now resource update has proven bkm resource and bkz and bkw are potentially projects in their own rightBeutong licence could drop any dayI really cant see how current mcap is fair value so conclusion is continue to add where i can even if it means sacrificing other inestmentsBut thats just my opinion!

Ok Mav sorry my bad. I saw those two trades right next to each other and two trades a few hours later for the same amounts within a few seconds of each other and obviously came up with completely the wrong conclusion!

Re. Institutions' behaviour, I agree that they are often the worst example of short termism. I will never forget AXA Pensions dumping their holding in Cape (CIU) in the panic of late 2008, and trashing the share price of this profitable mid-cap company from 200p all the way down to 17p. As soon as they had dumped their last lot (ruining many people's pensions presumably), the share price rocketed back to 100p very quickly - I made (for me) a lot of money. Sadly I sold out too soon, as 2 years later it was at 500p! My point is that instis often *do* just dump shares if a new man comes in at the top and changes a policy, or if they are in trouble of some sort. It's nothing to do with the true value of a share. Dumping say £2M worth of shares at a 50% loss won't make the tiniest difference to their massive portfolios, and the relevant investment manager will probably cover his a*se somehow anyway.

The two early trades today for 250,000 and 150,000 were quickly sold later for a small profit. It's this kind of short termism that's holding the share back. All for a couple of hundred quid profit. Short sighted and frustrating but it was very good news today make no mistake..

Makes you wonder why there hasnt been any seller RNS. SURELY THIS CONTINUATION OF SELLS CANNOT BE A POPULIST SELLING TREND. IT HAS TO BE ONE MAIN SELLER.

Another outstanding RNS adding to the extended life of mine at BKM as well as confirming yet more high grade "at surface" copper. The chart (Bull flag) looks like it is ready to explode so I am sticking my neck out and saying we will get to 7.2p by end August - a 55% gain in less than 6 weeks. No doubt the "I want to be a millionaire in a week" AIM traders won't be happy with such miserly returns! Stay long and strong and wait for the personal wealth we LTH will most definitely enjoy in the next 2-3 years.

I think I have mentioned here before that I recall buying solg at about 5p and sold at 10p. Thought I was brilliant. Then it went to 40p.

I am not making the same mistake here!!!

My main ARS purchases have been below 2p.

Mount Teise, I disagree as I have seen institutions exit positions at any cost once the decisions been made before, irrespective of whether it made sense or not.

RNS spike - another highly encouraging news release and another predictable share price response from the mm/machine gun big seller!

What makes little sense, is why the mm/seller is not allowing the share price to lift to 6-7-8p before unloading further stock? Surely they want the best possible price for the stock?

Suggests the only plausible explanation is that they know something the market is yet to find out - since no one knowingly undersells an asset. If it subsequently came to light that this proved to be the case, and there was clearly an ulterior motive(insider trading) at play, then whoever is involved in the share-price suppression has left a visible audit trail that even Steven Wonder and Ray Charles could spot!

Quite right scarymonster BUT sooner or later ARS will get the laxative it needs to release it past the constipated 5p mark..... just wish the seller/ sellers would dump ALL their stock and do one irrespective of what it does to the share price
