Disappointing, but not unexpected, that the silence continues......

They were pretty much forced into speaking to Charles via shareholder pressure so probably now feel that they have done their bit on the IR front.

A recent small recovery was driven by copper prices and shareholders promoting the company, as usual nothing to do with the company itself.

The fear now is that the cash cover is now down to maybe 3 months and DOID will be sitting there with their cheque book waiting to take effective control whilst the price remains miserable and the inherent value only increases....

"Hive of corporative activity" - McClelland's BS statement from Q4 2023 being horribly exposed as time drifts by.......

Believe it or not there's currently a metals rally. Some companies will move sooner than others. This is just the start. Be patient.

Not heard of any imminent news release so can only say its because its still way undervalued. There's nothing on the offer so any buys of size are still being negotiated.

Any thoughts on why ARS is up nearly 10% today?

Some updates would be nice, but McClelland is hardly Speedy Gonzales, is he. Although I believe the company are in the 'detailed engineering' phase, which, as the name suggests, is rather detailed from an engineering perspective. But sadly not 'exciting ' for us on this end. All imho!

Decent write up from CA.Now needs the company to ramp up value adding activity and updates in the short term.Copper is going to more then support the investment caseA firm corporate approach would spark things into life

Big week coming up. Surely copper price is due for a correction? Correction to what tho $4.50? Will humanity ever see $3 Cu again?

Is this AI "data center" talk all mouth no trousers? Will Chinese demand kick off again, and what about India?

Feels like the metals & mining space is turning after a torrid couple of years. I reckon being in a bull market feels better. Just need management to deliver (i know, dont laugh) and we're off to the races.

Mostyn, I has a bed & breakfast go through today of 1m shares, and both were printed as sales, so don't believe they are all sales as most were I believe buys.

The volume over the past month is higher than average, this adds substance to the rally that accompanies it. 2p area is short term target before we probably see a consolidation. The copper price and commodity share prices rising will see Asiamet significantly higher this summer. Be patient.

It's hard to work out what's going on with the price at the moment. Looking at the trades, and the trade times, it would seem that the majority of the trades are sales at or near the bid price, but the price has risen. There could be a large order in the background, but the price action has been strange for a few days. I'm happy to see the price rising, but the price action does seem odd.

Beutong is a good example of where we need to look at exactly what’s being said.

In the Annual report they said they
“Recommence community engagement *with a view to* undertake field work in H2 2024”

I’m fairly confident no field work will place in 2024. Would love to know how much they’ve budgeted for the field work :)

Hopefully he talks about Beutong and what on earth is going on there. Boots on the ground in the second half of this year? I'll believe it when I see photographic evidence!

Thanks Dorset. I look forward to what Manini has to say, and whether he gets grilled or tickled with a feather duster, so to speak.

Morning Dorset (I also come in peace!)

Yeah I get the upside, it’s what first brought me here. Obviously I’ve already covered that I don’t think we’ll get the financing which means we’re looking at a sale and I don’t think that’s necessarily a great investment strategy. That’s exacerbated by the fact I think DOID are almost certainly going to be the buyer and they’re sat on the Board and able (to an extent) to manipulate things for their own advantage. There’s also a short term funding requirement.

I may well mistime things but around 2p I can walk away and live with that, given the risk / reward at those levels.

I do agree if someone can get this starter project up and running into a bullish copper market the rewards will be huge - I just don’t see PIs being the beneficiaries. I was in SHG which got stolen from the inside just as things got exciting and generally find AIM a cowboys paradise.
