17/5/2024 14:40 | Beutong is a good example of where we need to look at exactly what’s being said. In the Annual report they said they “Recommence community engagement *with a view to* undertake field work in H2 2024” I’m fairly confident no field work will place in 2024. Would love to know how much they’ve budgeted for the field work :) | adw198
17/5/2024 13:22 | Hopefully he talks about Beutong and what on earth is going on there. Boots on the ground in the second half of this year? I'll believe it when I see photographic evidence! | rainyrain
17/5/2024 12:53 | Thanks Dorset. I look forward to what Manini has to say, and whether he gets grilled or tickled with a feather duster, so to speak. | rainyrain
17/5/2024 12:15 | No worries ADW, whichever way you choose, I trust it works for you & you make money. | dorset64
17/5/2024 12:14 | Yes RR, he's putting it out on Monday, perhaps explains the bigger buys this week ie himself. | dorset64
17/5/2024 11:37 | Morning Dorset (I also come in peace!) Yeah I get the upside, it’s what first brought me here. Obviously I’ve already covered that I don’t think we’ll get the financing which means we’re looking at a sale and I don’t think that’s necessarily a great investment strategy. That’s exacerbated by the fact I think DOID are almost certainly going to be the buyer and they’re sat on the Board and able (to an extent) to manipulate things for their own advantage. There’s also a short term funding requirement. I may well mistime things but around 2p I can walk away and live with that, given the risk / reward at those levels. I do agree if someone can get this starter project up and running into a bullish copper market the rewards will be huge - I just don’t see PIs being the beneficiaries. I was in SHG which got stolen from the inside just as things got exciting and generally find AIM a cowboys paradise. | adw198
17/5/2024 11:31 | Dorset are you referring to that proposed Charles Archer video with Tony Manini? | rainyrain
17/5/2024 11:17 | Apologies for spelling, on my phone and spellchecker playing havoc. | dorset64
17/5/2024 11:16 | Andrew, by all accounts an large investor I'd releasing his own not on Monday to which he has many followers, so I wouldn't sell just yet as maybe it will continue to rise all next week too, perhaps beyond. Personally I think you'd be daft to sell at it approaches 2p without news of funding as, when/if/once that or a tke over/jv gets announced showing the path to profitability, a lot of outsiders would then buy in. Just my thoughts and now getting close to being happy for buying millions over the past year as the increases per day are now large. | dorset64
17/5/2024 11:07 | Need to get nearer 2p but yeah that would be me gone. The same financing problems still exist and we’re still way under the price where DOID walked away from apparently due to see through value. I’m hoping they make their move soon though. This copper price is making things very enticing. | adw198
17/5/2024 11:01 | Adw198 u off m8? What's the plan, have BHP offered you a board seat? | rainyrain

16/5/2024 09:18 | Stubborn resistance: Let's see what Bobby Dazzler has got up his sleeve to break it. Done my research into the CEO, and he's a mining Rolls-Royce, imho! Knows his stuff like! | rainyrain
15/5/2024 15:44 | I reckon we could now see $7 copper this summer. | mreasygoing
14/5/2024 19:22 | But to the underlying point…do you still believe paying for some PR demonstrates being able to raise a $150m +? I don’t need a lecture about how smart you are, just an answer for once. | adw198
14/5/2024 18:47 | Yes that’s a fair minor correction. It’ll probably be less. I say probably because we’re nowwhere near construction and thus don’t have accurate quotes. If you’re getting a Deja vu it’s because yes we’ve been here before where quotes became out of date. Either way we still won’t find the money, that’s my belief. But as I say apologies for using the official figures the market has been provided. Out of interest the figures you were emailed with exactly figures based on $5 copper….what was capex based upon. My guess is…$230m. I’m sure you’ve already considered that though :) | adw198 |
