Nice reversal on good volume again. Short term chart suggests we might start a run further north tomorrow or the next day?NAI

Oki - agree Fundsmith a good well managed fund. I save regularly into Scottish Mortgage Trust SMT and have done so for many years. It has beaten some of my AIM shares in performance returns!

Fundsmith has been a very good fund over the last 4 years think i would be tempted to put there if we ever got taken out average 15% a year and not to much risk

The “real danger zone” for a cheap bid IMO will be when the BFS is published and Beutong will have some early data from a few deep drill holes. We all invest to make a profit and if a bid came in above 50-60p this year I would be one to vote accept.

The difficulty I would have like many LTH’s here in ARS with multi million share holdings is where in hell would you put such profits! Nice problem to have but even my next 3 biggest holdings in TLOU, HZM & IMM do not let me sleep peacefully at night sometimes which has never been an issue with ARS.

agree with that, adorling.

With the position the company is in just now, any offer would have to be in the too good to refuse bucket. Bearing in mind TM has his eyes focussed on creating a 1bn buck plus company, i'd suggest any offer would need to be around that number today.

Markth - TM said he would not accept less than 32-35p in Dec 2016 when we just had BKM. With BKZ as a stand alone asset and Beutong now licensed and 6-8 times the size of BKM I cannot see our Board selling out now for less than 50-60p now if an approach was made or less than 200p post BKM producing 25,000T copper pa and results of Beutong PEA being published.

I'm just interested in what people think. This is a big holding within my portfolio but just wondered thoughts on early buyout for either parts of it or whole shooting match. Why isn't it at higher price now. Funding round due?

mark, a low ball that could be accepted would be 50p ish. However, i doubt that would be accepted by the Bod and their backers.

What would you class as a low ball bid that could be accepted here? 20p?

monttim - 'Knowing most of our Board and senior management and their ambitions, I feel very confident any of us that want to be ARS holders even in a few years and into production , WILL STILL BE HOLDERS. A mix of partners and finance, however ASIAMET will still be ours.'

Thanks for the your thoughts.

A mix of partners and finance would be my preferred strategy too, to maximise share-holder value over the next 5 years.

However, a key risk to delivering that strategy is copper market fundamentals now generating strongly rising M&A activity; while the valuations of the very limited number of juniors with near term high grade production in scale are still relatively cheap.

From 24:02

"Almost all of our valuation at the moment is around BKM and BKZ.

Beutong is 6x the size, or 7 or 8x the size of those assets. So that gives you some idea of what's to come."

---

If the share price has advanced so strongly just on the back of BKM and BKZ, the mind boggles as to what it can do on the back of Beutong.

MT.
Superb use of the ARS bb to highlight your expertise & investment philosophy.
I am very pleased to read & learn. What a real bb is about.

I think you would have some fun following the QFI story & their exploits with Maersk.

Another area that would be of interest to you is the coming revolution known as the IOT.
I am sure you are on top of this trend, but if not, the next big revolution in tech.
The train is just leaving the platform about now for a $billion trip.

Cheers Hay.

mark, yes. the directors have a lot of skin in the game.
They hold about 5% of the company.
They've taken options for the last 3 years in lieu of salary.
They've also partaken significantly in every fundraising, from their own pockets.

That sounds very optimistic bobby, I like it but very glass half full. Do the directors have much skin in the game on this.
