05/1/2018 19:30 | 50pc retraces present multiple opportunities for significant profits. Buy and hold is not reliable in mining even on an upward cycle. | ronconomics
05/1/2018 18:18 | Plas - ARS is not a short term investment as some think. If you don’t have at least a 12 month horizon from here or better still a 3 year one then probably best to sell and move on otherwise you will be frustrated with these MM games. I invested because The Management Team will build a $billion copper miner. We need to let that happen. In the book “100-baggers | adorling
05/1/2018 18:07 | First week back after Christmas and not much expected. Next week I will be expecting something... Anything would be nice! | charles clore
05/1/2018 18:02 | Am I right is thinking they have made an absolute dogs breakfast over the licence? Promises after promises. But nothing ever materialises. Surely they know it is better to under promise & over deliver. As a result the share price is again suffering. Patience is wearing thin or have I got this all wrong? | plasybryn
05/1/2018 17:59 | Lightened up a little to bank some profit. Still holding an outsize position but leverage is a cruel mistress and she must be obeyed. | ronconomics
05/1/2018 16:35 | 8.75p is support from last time and we saw good reversal last time. The sellers today will feel they have been mugged when news arrives next week. Only way to play ARS is to buy and hold and let the Management build a $billion miner. | adorling
05/1/2018 15:59 | mms in control with the low volume. Looks like we will test 8p again to me | jackbal

05/1/2018 10:39 | Buys now on par with sell and we are 8% down, nice one MM's!Stop panicking over if we will get Beutong exploitation permit, it's a sure thing as I've explained in a previous post! The delay maybe caused by the fact that there are other parties involved, we only have rights to 40% of the permit (currently). | mrpiggy

05/1/2018 10:27 | Could well be Mountain Greed | huckle9
05/1/2018 10:18 | If you’re a LTH you’ll simply focus on the current NPV of BKM in isolation and know that in 2 years the share price with be 300% higher than now based on this alone with a degree of certainty based all the facts. As the market forward looks , the share price will appreciate toward this once BFS/ Finance is in place. KSK and Beutong are value adds that will “ out” during 2018. Sit tight for the big gains over the next 3 years and play the long game. | highly geared
05/1/2018 10:13 | L2 - the machine gun selling attack earlier doors looked orchestrated. Another MM wash and rinse cycle of sharply dropping the share price to accumulate stock prior to the release of news early next week that with a straight face they will claim they were totally ignorant of? Surely not! Underestimate MM/Broker greed at your peril. | mount teide
05/1/2018 10:09 | They clearly expected the licence to land by early November. Somebody (can't remember who) even said it was on the grand poobar's desk waiting to be signed off and that someone was going into the ministry to collect it. So what could possibly have happened to change that? Almost 6 weeks later and nothing! Meanwhile it looks like the chart has changed from a bull flag to a bull flag with a breakout to the downside. | charles clore
05/1/2018 10:07 | I know they are.. but what would it say generally about investing in indonesia if there is an issue with beutong? Im invested here and keeping the faith.. just wary of that and what happened with CHL | huckle9
05/1/2018 10:02 | Personally I will gladly add again if I can buy at 8 again. I do find it slightly annoying as a shareholder that Ars felt it was appropriate to allow the podcast stating that a certain material event was expected mid November but haven't since felt it appropriate to inform shareholders of the difficulties or reason for delay. They seem to think they can build expectation but two months after the event offer up no explanation or update and just call silent, they did the same thing in 2016. One sided PR and I would expect this bod to be above that sort of thing. If there are issues with this one production license then they should offer an explanation which will in turn allow people that are only invested for that reason to weigh up/sell and allow other investors such as myself for whom the production license is immaterial to add at a hopefully lower level. | jackbal
05/1/2018 10:02 | Took a small trade at 9p. | aim0raider
05/1/2018 09:47 | huckle-they are seperate licences! | sos100
05/1/2018 09:47 | And beutong? Does this alter whether we can operate in indonesia at all? | huckle9
05/1/2018 09:34 | Inevitable drop following the lack of newsflow. Still doesn't alter what is in the ground though so not concerned as the good news will come. | philby1
05/1/2018 09:33 | Del, it doesn't work like that!Don't panic, best advice I can give you is either turn off and log on in a fortnight and all will be well or just sit it out and wait for the bounce.... it will come!Just don't be silly and loose your money by panic selling! All will be ok! ;@) | mrpiggy
05/1/2018 09:07 | I honestly think this share is going to played until we receive some type of news or the licence Tony Pete or Steve please help us out and keep this share above 9p | delboy ars mad
04/1/2018 17:30 | Hi Charles - not so much reined in in terms of interviews were excellent and followed the drilling updates and have there have been no updates since, save for the one in December on the short column met results that was already overdue, and not really worth of an interview. I do think however that the company finally now understands that whilst exuberance and enthusiasm are great to see, going that one step further in terms of effectively giving very firm timescales on certain aspects is more detrimental. All sorts of stuff could be going on in the background - I am more than happy to sit in blissful ignorance and be very pleasantly surprised if something very material and unexpected suddenly lands. They also now can't come out and give any guidance on Beutong for example, because they've shot their bolt on that one and will just look silly - so that is back in "lands when it lands" territory - could be tomorrow, 2 weeks time or Q2, who knows. What we do know is that some firm updates should start flowing again as there have now been a number of weeks of 24x7 drilling , with 4 drills running, and no results as yet. I think these will be very interesting and justify the delay in BFS in terms of squeezing more stuff in and therefore getting a better debt / equity deal for shareholders. There are very strong views around on a prospective bid - I can't see it personally until BFS, Beutong and drilling at the likes of Baroi are all under the belt, so that's likely Q3 - but then that gives the copper price more time to get closer to $4. | 2lb
04/1/2018 16:43 | I suspect the nomad advised that off the cuff comments were restricted - quite rightly. Comments that 2 or 3 rns' next week and Beutong by end of Nov were not helpful and hindsight clearly shows they were not accurate. | ianbag |
